I deserve to feel safe because....

my life matters I have people that love me and look out for me.

I deserve to feel safe because, excitement and happiness doesn't have to be felt only through childhood. There is still so much to learn and explore. Our inner child desperately wants to be let out. To be able to find magic in sunsets, to see a dandelion as more than just a weed, to still ask why and have the same level of curiosity as we did when we were younger.

Because in reality I'm no different than anyone else, and everyone deserves to feel safe.

I deserve to feel safe because I have went through so much trauma in my life that maybe for once i deserve happiness

Don't feel I "deserve" to be safe and do not feel debating or discussing it. I do feel that I have every right to do my best to do all I can to help keep myself safe.

I deserve to feel safe because everyone deserves to feel safe. No one should have to go through traumatizing and dangerous experiences that strip them of that sense of security; it's an unnecessary cruelty.

I always deserved to feel safe and that was taken from me - my sense of safety, emotionally and physically. So now I take that back for me.

I am as worthy as you or your loved ones

I read other people’s answers, and they make sense to me. But I can’t come up with an answer for myself. At least not one that I can actually believe without just saying. So that tells me what my next topic in my therapy sessions should be.
