🤎 Recovery 🤎
Trauma doesn’t always look the way people expect it to.
Sometimes it’s loud and overwhelming.
Sometimes it’s silent, hidden behind smiles, productivity, and “I’m fine.”
Trauma lives in the body, the mind, the nervous system — and it shows up in ways that don’t need permission to be valid. If you’re here, reading this, your pain counts. Always. 🤍
I’ve been through more than I ever thought I could survive. I’ve known deep emotional pain, moments where everything felt too heavy, and seasons where just staying alive felt like a full-time job. There were times I looked okay on the outside while completely falling apart inside. Times where I didn’t recognize myself anymore. Times where hope felt very far away.
But I chose to fight for myself. 💪🌱
I went through trauma treatment — and wow… it was hard. Messy. Raw. Gruesome at times. There were sessions that cracked me open and left me unsure how to cope afterward. But I stayed. I showed up. I kept going. And I’m incredibly proud to say I graduated from trauma treatment. 🎓✨ Healing didn’t erase what happened to me, but it gave me tools, safety, and a version of myself that feels stronger and more grounded than ever before.
If you’re in the thick of it right now, please hear this: healing is possible — even when it doesn’t feel like it. You don’t have to rush it. You don’t have to do it perfectly. You just have to keep choosing yourself, even in the smallest ways. Growth can exist alongside pain. 🌸
So if today all you did was breathe, survive, or open this app — I’m proud of you. You are not broken. You are not behind. You are becoming. 💗✨
Sending so much love, warmth, and gentle strength to every single soul here. We’re in this together. 🤍🌈

Thank you so much for showing, it's possible to get through it.
To heal.
To be happy again.
Your posts hold such a warm, honest, compassionate space, and I appreciate you 🤗💚

Lex, how to recover? What is the treatment?
I'm the loud and overwhelming part 🙋🏻♂️

After nearly 20 years of PTSD from trauma caused by sexual abuse, I can say, with confidence, healing is NOT possible. Not one bit. Medications, therapy, meditation, microdosing, medical Marijuana, it all creates an illusion of healing.
Im now at the point where I trust nothing or no one who is to help me heal. I believe nothing will work before I even try. I believe at nearly 45 Im just here until the PTSD kills me.
