Vamps or witches or werewolves

I think there's lots of movies, books, shows etc about the supernatural beings lol, vampires, witches, werewolves etc and wanted to make a space to discuss about everyone's favorites ☺

🎃 Hands down, The Winternight Trilogy by Katherine Arden. It’s not about your modern, stereotypical, broom-riding, cauldron-stirring witch, though. Rather, it’s about the struggles of being a witch back in the times when people feared them.
🎃 I’d definitely prefer to be a witch. Knowing magic would be handy. Also… *Looks at my username* 🤣
🎃 Not all witches are bad. In fact, witches used to be revered in some societies as sages who knew how to help and heal others with their magical powers. So, y’know, burning them at stake wasn’t exactly proper manners…

The Underworld movies aren't too bad. The Twilight movies are ok - but I don't think vampires should sparkle lol
A werewolf definitely. I like sunshine too much to be a vampire and I don't want to be immortal. I just don't think I'm witch material tbh lol but their magic is awesome
Not all of them are the vicious blood lusting creatures they're often portrayed to be - that's just a personal opinion though

For me personally, werewolves. Those types of characters always seem to hit differently. Even in movies such as Twilight. I'm not going to go into my rather controversial and probably argument inducing view on Edward but let's just say for me, Jacob was the one and only choice.
My favourite movie series containing werewolves is Underworld. They'll always hold a special place in my heart. I could watch them over and over again until I'm blue in the face.
I guess the lack of movies/books that are at least decent to watch/read is also part of the intrigue for me, too. You don't see many of them being made these days that are watchable.

As for favorite book, it's actually a series called "Vampire Academy", if you like vampires pls give it a try! And latelly I've read a quite interesting book about witches - "The Ravens" by Kass Morgan. It's great! And plus it has a second book as well 🙀🙀 as for wolves i shall not forget to say "Teen Wolf", "Wolf's rain", "Spice and wolf", "Wolf's children"; (animes and a tv show).

Quite interesting options, I'd rather be a wolf.
Why?
Well no specific reasons, they have amazing furr to keep them warm,can function in packs and alone, which is qyite good for an introvert.

Hmm,well werewolf are said to turn into wolves on the night of full moon, and that silver can harm them. 🤔 Which i believe is well known facts. And what i find fascinating is how an alpha can easily become beta, and/or eventually omega. (feels like full circle deal)

Some of my favorites are Vampire Diaries / Legacies, The Magicians (if you want to count that as witches?), What we do in the Shadows (the tv show), Shadowhunters (I just really loved Magnus and Alec), and Being Human.
I would definitely choose witch if I had to choose between the three.
Damon is one of my favorite characters ever out of all the supernatural shows.
Some of my favorite fantasy/magic books are Wheel of Time series, Lava Red Feather Blue, The Starless Sea, and obviously Harry Potter.
