Welcome Team Challenge! [CLOSED]
Here is a list of all of our welcome team members!
----------> Anyone who would like to join the welcome team, you are more than "welcome" (hehe). We'd love to have you!
For the next week, I will be hosting a WELCOME TEAM "WELCOME OFF"!
--------> Here is how you can get involved!
1) Learn more about the welcome team here!
2) Review the sample welcome messages & post yours if you have not already done so! (Remember to include an icebreaker question to keep it fun
)
3) On your listener dashboard, you will see a list of all the new listeners who have joined today! (did you know we have over 200 listeners join our community every day)
4) Let us know who you have welcomed here!
At the bottom of your post in this thread, leave the final # count of those you have welcomed so that we can easily keep a tally.
5) Recruit your friends to participate and join the welcome team!
- If you are successful in recruiting another listener to join the team & this challenge, ask them to reference you as their referral in their first welcome team post in this thread.They can write: @laura asked me to join the welcome team & this is my first post!
6) On Friday, March 20th, I will announcethe winner of the "Welcome-Off"
The winners will receive (one for teens & one for adults - 6 winners total):
-----> 1st place:
- Fame & Glory
- 1 Cheer for every person they welcome
- A surprise
----->2nd place:
- Fame & Glory
- 1 cheer for every 2 people they welcome
----->3rd Place:
- Fame & Glory
- 1 Cheer for every 3 people they welcome
Lastly, for every listener friend that you invite to join the welcome team, you will earn 1 cheer!

this is a really cool Idea Laura! I probably won't remember to enter, I do this just because I like saying hello and welcoming people anyway, but it could be a great way to motivate people!

I may try the challenge if time allows, however, I am happy to say that I helped to recruit an amazing listener. I had been chatting with them in the chat room and also 1 on 1. This person just personified what a listener at 7 Cups of Tea. I am so happy she decided to become a listener. I will send a shout-out to them for being brave and an awesome listener and member.
This sounds awesome! Thanks for all that the members of the welcome team are already doing. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone get involved and making the new listeners feel so welcomed. Lets be little welcoming machines
