Transfer @me and Let me try! XD Hehe kidding!
What makes you feel money cannot buy happiness? Any backing thoughts and experiences on it?💛
@Sunisshiningandsoareyou
Money buys comfort, but happiness often comes from things it can't buy...like relationships, purpose, and growth. After basic needs, more money rarely adds lasting happiness
@warmheartedPear7842
Im glad you mentioned "basic needs", because agreed, beyond the basic needs, money isn't the ultimate stepping stone to everlasting true sense of happiness.
It's like relying on something tangible for something that is nothing but a state of mind.
And it can change in an instant without any caution. Someone loaded with money today may not be the same tomorrow, and it definitely doesn't guarantee one happiness.
Indeed, after the basic needs being met, I feel true happiness comes from within, a state of mind, a sense of contentment. 🌞
@warmheartedPear7842 that’s true that’s what I hate about my best friend she wants me to. Make her money giving her money constantly we are having issues problems she did a lot of things wrong that’s not okay that’s.not right she didn’t care doesn’t car about me she didn’t apologize
@warmheartedPear7842
Agreed.
Money cannot buy good health, love, commitment, or the intangible things that genuinely fulfill the heart and mind.
I disagree with the good health part.
Medical expenses are expensive these days, so if you get sick, need a surgery, or cure any health issue, you will need more than medium amount of money with you.
@fahd3
You are absolutely right. My statement was from a different perception. What i mean is even if you have a lot of money but the people you are living with are toxic then it is gradually going to affect your mental health and make you sick and even money can't fix that. I am living with a bunch of sick people who taunt me, look down on me knowing i seek counselling because i have issues. We have a lot of money but it doesn't make me any happy.
@warmheartedPear7842 agreed! The best things in life are free ❤❤
But if anyone hates money, then to please donate it all to me😁
@warmheartedPear7842 I would rephrase it as: "Money can’t buy happiness but poverty can’t buy anything."
I beleive, by definition, this saying ONLY applies once you are already financially well off. If a person who makes 20k per year suddenly got a raise to making 120k per year, their happiness level would increase quite a lot (in a way, buying happiness with money). But a person already making 500k per year increasing to 600k? Not as much
@warmheartedPear7842 a little money would certainly help
@warmheartedPear7842
Partly agree!
Money can buy materialistic comfort but not necessarily joy.
All people need is love and care
