If you could go back in time and change in thing, what would it be?
@Amanda84
I no longer believe in coincidences: I think everything that happens to us is necessary for us to be who we are meant to be. However, I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't love to go back to my early High School years. Between bullying at school and abuse at home, I never felt safe. I wish that I could go back and help my past self spread her wings more, or maybe just find her a safer home where she could be so much happier.
@HappySpecter Im sorry you suffered bullying and abuse and I hope your self now is free and happy 💜🥰
@Amanda84
I think I am 😊 thank you!
To have listened to my friend when they told me I was experiencing dissociation the first time. I know there wasn't a lot of information on it a few years ago. Shoot! There's barely any information on it now. But I wish I had listened and taken it more seriously.
Maybe I would have been able to treat my psychosis sooner. Idk.

My dad being alive and my mom not being sick. It would have made my life easier.
@Isaiah08 I'm sorry you went through so much, sending my love and condolences on the passing of your dad, and it's really tough to see the people we love sick 💜
Thank you for your kind words- and you are right, it's really hard seeing our love once sick 💟
I think there’s many but if I could I would tell my four year old self to keep myself safe as much as possible. Also I know it’s one thing but I wish I would have vouched for therapy earlier. It really would have changed my life.
@Amanda84
It’s a toss up between stopping Abraham Lincoln’s assassination or preventing the US from entering the First World War.
@LovingPeacefulHeart what changes in history there could have been 💜
Yes @Amanda84 in either case things would be a lot different today.
@Amanda84 If I could go back in time and change one thing, I would change how talkative I used to be, particularly when I was much younger. I used to ramble on and on, but I am way less talkative nowadays.
I would've treated my wife better. I spent years trying to hide my problems from her, which backfired and we separated for over a year because of me. I didn't get to see my kids for over a year because of my selfishness. We were able to mostly reconcile and have moved back in together since, but that's what I'd change.

If I could go back in time, I would eliminate anxiety and fear from some situations and make decisions that suit me first before others, without sacrifices....
@Saly9italy it's vitally important you consider your own feelings and limitations first 💜🥰
@Amanda84
Yes 👍🏻
