Hi everyone!

For those who may not know me yet, I’m one of the Project Agents for the Welcome Committee, and I’m so happy to be here with all of you. Being part of this project means a lot to me because the very first interaction someone has in a community can truly shape their experience. A simple welcome can make someone feel seen, valued, and encouraged to stay. 💬✨

A little bit about me — I’m also a listener, and supporting others has always been something I’m passionate about. I care deeply about creating safe spaces where people feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and feelings. Outside of listening, I’m someone who values empathy, kindness, and connection. I truly believe that even the smallest acts of support can make a big difference in someone’s day.

Our community has been doing some amazing work! Here are the current numbers for the project:

That brings us to a total of 2,660 PMs sent to new members! 🎉

This is such an incredible milestone, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication and kindness of everyone who has been participating in the project. Every message sent is another person who felt welcomed into the community — and that truly matters.

I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has been actively contributing and sending welcomes. Your effort does not go unnoticed, and you are helping create the warm and supportive environment that this community is known for.

At the same time, I do want to gently encourage more members to step up and participate. The success of this project relies on teamwork, and when everyone contributes even a little, the impact becomes so much bigger.
