If you feel like sharing, it might help ease the weight you're carrying.

@DeepTalkSpace

That is a very thought provoking question!

To everyone coming across~ you're allowed to embrace your current reality, grieve the loss of what could've been, and be hopeful to what can happen still. You're allowed to let go of the what-ifs, liberating yourself from things holding you back, forgiving yourself and eventually, choosing yourself in the present. 💛

@Kat0417 Same. Still haven't been able to. The worse thing is, I don't think I'll ever be able to.

I regret not embracing my true, authentic self for the longest time. I was always easily influenced by other people's judgements and opinions, which led me to change my actions outside alignment with my values. But now I move forward unapologetically being myself all the time! And it feels great :)

Wishing everyone the best on their journeys as well!

@DeepTalkSpace I regret wasting years of my life on people who didn't deserve it and blaming myself instead of leaving the blame with them 💜

I regret not investing in myself when I was younger. I recently turned 40. I spent my younger years building up my husband, supporting his dreams, and neglecting my own. A couple of years ago I found out he cheated on me and I realized how dependent I was on him.

I recently went back to school but I regret not going when I was young, so I could have respected myself a little better.

@DeepTalkSpace hesitating

almost all the time, even in the simplest of things
i stop myself and question instead of doing it, it keeps me from completely living my life like imposter syndrome but with every decision
worst is that i never stopped and questioned what really should have mattered

@DeepTalkSpace I regret not having time and love for myself when it was most important to do so. I never had the experience to work about my adult life really without having someone be there and this has led me into relationships that I clearly wasn't ready for. I still feel the need to attach to people when I shouldn't but maybe the more I realize this the time will come where I will be able to finally reach my needs in independence, going about the emotional baggage it will sure bring will be an obstacle, but it's something that I will have to finally climb over to be happy.
