What's the one thing you regret the most in your life?
If you feel like sharing, it might help ease the weight you're carrying.
@DeepTalkSpace opening up and involuntarily crying to a person im not close with
@DeepTalkSpace I regret being bad person over and over again and ending up hurting others
@DeepTalkSpace no tener valentía para terminarlo desde la primera vez
Getting in a serious relationship at 16
@DeepTalkSpace
Trigger warning: s*****ide/internal sadness.
I am not sure if it’s needed since my reply it isn’t scarring or something, but better put it there because you never know
You know, I’m not much of a believer of a certain religion but I read somewhere that *** is basically a repetition of our regret(s). Growing older I realised it might’ve meant that is the *** we put ourselves into by having them- but anyways, you see what I mean. Since then, I am trying not to have any going forward in life.

However, one thing that weighs me down is the last message someone left me before they make the choice to pass away. That specific message was basically them seeing me ignoring them. So you know, in those final moments of despair, this was their final thought of me.
It’s been almost ten years and I can say that I’ve moved past it, but sometimes I catch myself thinking of them and I can’t help but wonder “Is this it? My potential eternal punishment?”. I can say I am healed, without lying to myself, so is it a regret (which I claim I don’t have any) or is it a passing thought (which is normal to have from time to time)?
I don’t know if anyone read to the end, but I want to say that I know that person’s choice wasn’t my fault and I also -painfully- know that even if I did reply, the action would still happen. I am okay, it’s just me.. sharing..
Also, if anyone’s in my shoes or has been before, hi!
@DeepTalkSpace Breaking up with her because I didn't understand anxiety then
@DeepTalkSpace
I regret being the responsible older sibling who did all the chores without being asked because it just meant that my parents had extremely high expectations and once I got a job and started taking college classes (in high school) they just called me lazy
Getting too involved in her and then losing her after 1.5 years.
Due to that wasting my precious 10 months and not being able to enjoy my last year in school.
@DeepTalkSpace I regret taking my wife for granted and not showing her how much I cared and loved and cherished her. She was the last person on earth I ever wanted to hurt or make cry. Now I am suffering the consequences of all those chances when I could've and should've been better.
I’m so sorry. That’s a heavy regret you’re carrying.
not realizing my worth.
