My front wall of defense used to be people pleasing because if I'm so nice, no one will wrong me but I faced reality and saw that even if you are kind no matter how much, they will still be how unkind they are.
@wonderfulComfort5057 It's honestly sad how we can offer people so much kindness and they still find a way to wrong us.
I hope you know that your kindness is seen, appreciated and it matters, even if not everyone deserves it 💗

The front wall for me might be someone who is hard to approach, because I seldom smile alone in public. It gives others the feeling that I am emotionless and indifferent.

@BlueDarkAurora Some people are solid by heart gotta cover it with new aesthetics because they don't have the tower , whereas some people build towers, make it strong with verbal things but lags by heart .

I’ve received feedback as I thought you were a b when I first met you. This is hurtful.
I am one to have small talk but never really let anyone see my true self. I don’t trust easily. I’ve learned if you don’t give too much information, then they have nothing to use against you. I’ve learned if I keep myself quiet, then there’s no chance of being hurt with attachment. I deflect with humor. I keep myself occupied fully in effort to suppress emotions.
@peachThinker662 That's a really hurtful thing to say to someone 💗 It always baffles me how quickly people can toss away even the tiniest bit of consideration for others. And you're right, the less you give.. the less people have to use against you. Kinda sad ^^
I hope that you get to have safe spaces and people in your life where your heart doesn't feel the need to be so careful and where you can just be your true self 💕
