Oooh Super amazing ice breakers, Fristo. Music is certainly something that connects people. ❤
I like the questions you mentioned and some more I can currently think of are:
♡ What's a song that reminds you of *you*?
♡ If you could dedicate a song to someone that makes you feel happy, which one would you choose?
♡ Would you rather listen to music without singing the song along, or sing louder than the artist? (Lol)
♡ Would you rather play your favorite song on an instrument of your choice, or sing it in front of an audience?
@Fristo
I sing throughout the day, everything I do, I can put to song. It makes my day joyful and bring happiness to those around me.
@Fristo
Which song never fails to uplift you?
Autumn Leaves by Ed Sheeran
What's the most amazing line from the song lyrics of one of your favourite songs?
"Love can change the world in a moment" What do I know? Ed Sheeran
Which positive emotions do your playlist songs carry?
Happiness, relief, good vibes
If you write a song about love and peace, what would be the first line of your song?
Love and peace is something that can never be found but worked twords
Which instrument do you play, or would like to learn and play?
I play the flute
What kind of music is especially good for your mental health?
Ed Sheeran
Who is your favourite lyricist or songwriter, and why?
If you can't tell I love Ed Sheeran. He has a story in his songs about every single aspect of his life. If you listen to his songs in order it's his life story. Some of it I relate to. He sounds like home to me
What classifies as good music, in your opinion?
Anything that sounds good. I'm very picky when it comes to music so if I don't like the song in the slightest bit I refuse to listen to it
What's the most essential element of music for you: the singer's voice, musical instruments, song melody, or song lyrics?
The lyrics and the instruments. The instruments set the tone and the lyrics tell the story. The voice and melody fall in place from there
One Simon and Garfunkel song cover really hit me. The music video is so symbolic to me. The man singing seems very angry but to me, his anger is over the oppression of innocent people, especially the poor. I see the gap between the haves and have nots in the way this song is portrayed. In the end, it shows the coming together that needs to happen for a happy, peaceful, equitable world.

Which song never fails to uplift you? Any Taylor Swift song or Microwaved popcorn or Sh*t by Bo Burnham XD
What's the most amazing line from the song lyrics of one of your favourite songs? "And I might be Ok, but I'm not fine at all" All too well (sad Autumn girl 10 min version) (Taylor Swift) and, "You have pointed out all my flaws again. As if I don't see them already" Mean (Taylor Swift)
Which positive emotions do your playlist songs carry? Some of the songs are more on the happy side and then some are angry but in a good way.
Which song melody do you love to hum? Often it's a Taylor Swift song
If you write a song about love and peace, what would be the first line of your song? Idk XD
Which song would you dedicate to someone supportive and kind to you? Must have been the wind (Alec Benjamin) to my best friend I can tell she is struggling with something herself but she doesn't ask for help and I can't ask because I don't ask for help either and she knows I'm struggling so she won't answer me.
Which instrument do you play, or would like to learn and play? I would love to play the harp it's just such an amazing instrument that sounds so heavenly and peaceful
What kind of music is especially good for your mental health? Any music lately because mum took my laptop away from me unless I'm doing schoolwork so any music is great. I miss music so much :'(
When is music not so good for you? When I relate too much to it (Lost boy, Ruth B and I can't carry this anymore, Anson Seabra atm)
What things and activities help make your life feel a beautiful melody? Reading or listening to music on the radio in the car XD

What's a timeless song in your mother tongue you feel happy listening to? I don't understand this XD
Who is your favourite lyricist or songwriter, and why? Taylor Swift, she writes her own music and they are all on her emotions which is very powerful and makes her vulnerable and I admire her deeply for that.
What classifies as good music, in your opinion? Anything but most classical music because I just can't seem to relate to it and sometimes get panicky when there are no actual words. Heavy metal it's just too chaotic for me.

Any Klezmer, Chardas, or Reggae music and a ton of Russian/Ukrainian, Welsh and Celtic folk songs
@Fradiga That sounds nice! Any recommendations?
I sing to myself a lot as a comfort thing! The playlist I have on repeat (with lyrics in the songs) helps me feel empowered. I also listen to a very specific track when I'm sleeping or meditating, which is very calm, and is largely centered around the "Ohm" mantra!
I love this icebreaker post @Fristo! 🌻

Which instrument do you play, or would like to learn and play?
I'd love to learn the piano someday :D (if I ever find the money to buy a piano, or afford tutoring sessions, or a place to put the piano in the first place *sigh*)
Which language feels most musical when you speak it?
My knowledge of how a lot of languages sound is limited really, since I don't know what most languages from Africa, Oceania and many other parts of the world sound like. Sooo, with that in mind, I'd go for Italian. Not necessary the most beautiful-sounding language (it's still up there for me, though), but definitely the most musical-sounding one I could think of off the top of my head 😄.
There are a lot of posts on this thread. If you ever came across mine and read it 'til the end, here, have a slice of cake and a cup of tea 🍰🍵
@Fristo The song "symphony " it's really a beautiful song! ♥
