Welcome Committee Team: Link Clicking Workaround (November 21st)
Hi everyone! I know a lot of you have been getting logged out when you click names on the Google spreadsheets.
We have an issue with clicking external links to 7cups.com that logs you out of your account. Sometimes refreshing the page will log you back in, but it's not aways the case. Thankfully this is only temporary and a fix is being worked on to be deployed ASAP.
In the meantime, we have a workaround. When we take names from the new members page, don't contact them through Google Sheets, but open them from the welcome page. It does take longer than getting to select them and open links at once, but if you press ctrl (or command) and click the names, it can open them pretty quickly down the list on the welcome page.
Make sure you paste the names as usual on the spreadsheet but send the actual PMs by clicking the names off the welcome page.
