Question: Would you post in the forum more if you could edit your own posts?

I'm curious to know how much this impacts your engagement.

Yes, I definitely would! Forums are a great source of intelligent thought, so it would be nice if I could edit what I said tofix spelling or grammatical errors/ make it clearerto uphold the eloquence. (:

Yes it would be nice to be able to edit our posts, when you are emotionally pouring out your heart you forget about spelling and only realise the errors afterward. It's only human that we tend to make mistakes but it would be nice to try and rectify a few things. 😊

I like the fact that when I respond to a post that my response won't lose it's context due to a major edit to that original post.

I'm brand-new here and I didn't realize that you couldn't edit posts. Lol, I ALWAYS look at my posts and want to edit them so they are clearer. That's something I hate about YT, the fact that I can't edit my comments.

It would be great if there was an edit button. For me, I will still say what I wanted to say but with fewer typos. :)

It would be great if we could edit our posts, Everyone makes mistakes sometimes so it would be fantastic to have an edit feature to fall back on if we did post something with grammatical errors or to rephrase something.

I don't think it would change how much I post but it would still be really helpful because I tend to type really fast and not look at my messages haha and I make a lot of typos sooo yeah. It'd be nice

It would definitely be a helpful feature, especially for folks who are extremely self-conscious and already hesitant about posting, like myself. And like others have said, the ability to delete your own comment or the thread you started would be great.

@Laura

Yes, I think that I would post in the forum more if an edit/delete/save as draft option was available.

I tend to make a lot of mistakes in my posts, especially typos or accidental auto-corrects.

it is really frustrating that I cannot go back and edit the typos out or delete a post that I don't want anymore.

I would also like to see a 'save as draft' option, because I type a LOT in my posts and sometimes I can't type it all in one sitting, without getting tired. I really want to contribute to the short stories forum, and it would be nice if I could work on the story a little by little right on this site and then post it when I'm done. I could also edit said short stories and add new chapters or whatever right on that same post, instead of having to make a separate post on the thread. I could also edit poems by adding new stanzas right on that same post, with the edit option,.

I hope this all makes sense! :) thank you for reading this and have a lovely day!

I probably won't the reason is it's too much work I'm too lazy and don't have the time for that kind of thing.
