One of 5he scariest things I ever done was faced the CPS. I still have my kids, thank goodness.
Ummm.. . Being only 17 I have done some scary things. Getting into cars with random guys, taking someone's pills, taking a pill of didn't know what kind it was, drinking and taking meds, take tons and tons of aspirin and not going to the hospital, meeting up with random guys with no one. .. These are a few. .. The pill I didn't know I had a severe allergic reaction ..... The rest I regret, but yet I still do them sort of
Step out of my comfort zone when stepping out of my comfort zone is scary. It was worth it.
"I'm leaving."
Uttering those words to my family is the scariest thing that comes to mind. Even though at that point I had already moved out without their knowledge, revealing the full force of my intention in words took weeks of mental preparation. Ironically, right after, it was as though a calm had set over me. I could only walk forward.
Those words were scarier than hiding behind the tall boxes in the garage or than that one time he started throwing kitchen pans and broke the dining table on Christmas.
Scarier than the first time I consciously purposefully lied (in middle school, when I didn't want to change my essay to her liking).
Scarier than joining the volunteer group for a large convention, not knowing whether I'd be accepted by the other otakus with decades of geeky experience.
Scarier than going to the my first high school party party, even though I knew I could never manage to properly communicate with most of the other theatre kids.
As I started writing this, I started feeling as though I'm reliving the fear. But now I feel a bit better. Even though living is scary, I am so happy to have so many lovable pursuits to live through... I love fear, fear is fun. c:

Wow... my head started working o this... Fear always dwelled in our house, in the air around my family, the balance we tried to keep was so fleeble, we were constantly afraid to break it, that soething would happen... I wonder if that's the reason why I so love horror stuff. It's always fear, but I can control it. I can stop the movie, own th scary doll, tell myself ghost don't exist... I can control it. Fear is funny, when you don't feel helpless, right?

@Kate I play trumpet. Several times so far, Ive auditioned for a prestigious orchestra or band. Its nerve wracking standing there while they list a scale as you try to remember it. And then hearing the shakiness in your trumpet because your hands are shaking.
Another thing that scares every time is when I have to present something. Because I stutter, I usually cant talk unless I am reading something. But since I cant do that, I just stutter every word I say. And the whispers as I stutter. The comments. Theyre horrid.
