Hello
Hello, I joined the other day, but still a bit nervous to actually post anything.
I have severe problems with anxiety and depression, usually just about manageable but lately really getting in the way of work and home life. Been thinking about suicide more and more, the worrying thing is that what stopped me previously doesn't seem to have the same effect on me anymore.
I'm also starting to question my sexuality, am I straight, gay, bi or a lesbian trapped in a mans body? Or am I just a nut case pervert who needs shooting???

Thanks
I don;t know where to start. I keep looking at the website and keep getting phased out. Can't quite bring myself to chat to a listener yet.
Tried to start a few forums threads or reply to posts but get anxious about the response to them, even here in this safe place.
So what has brought me back here now, at this instant? I have just arranged to have a meeting with one of my company directors for tomorrow afternoon. It didn't particulary bother me, I've been trying to have a meeting with him for weeks, I've needed to discuss work related issues with him for months, so am relieved that he is finally coming to meet me. However since that meeting was arranged this morning there have been three emails from him which have made me feel cold, clammy, raise my heart rate, make my hands shake and now I feel physically sick. I could rattle on but it's hard to type like this, I'm not a great writer. That's probably one of the reasons that I feel so bad, I can't articulate my self properly, or I don;t feel that I do anyway.

Thanks for your reply!
Well, you have expressed yourself really well here, so that's something to take pride in! Can I ask, what did the emails say?
Anxiety can be a really overwhelming and controlling emotion, but keep telling yourself that you're making big steps forward, because you are!
Here is a few guides you may find useful to take a look at, if you're not ready to chat with a listener! Thats not a problem, but remember that when you're ready, we'll be here!
Hope this helps!

@Peter
First email was asking for minutes from a meeting which I cancelled - I had cancelled it because of high workload and he had obviously missed my memo saying it was cancelled.
Second email was asking for our sales and performance figures for the last month.
Third email was a memo to all deprtments that departmental meetings are to take place and should only be cancelled in exceptional circumstances.
