Still New Enough to 7Cups
I know there may be a whole list of answers to all these questions. But I’m going through a lot currently. So ; short answers , Would help me understand this app /sharing platform better.
1) What are levels ? Ex: I’m on Helpful/ Helping Hands….
2) It’s been driving me nuts; what is upvoted mean? I get notifications that my post got upvoted. Yes, I can see people’s comments, which i appreciate. Just this term Upvoted is an unfamiliar term.
3) I know we are all human beings…. And staying on any electronic, social site (like 7Cups) HOW do you chat with available listeners? I come back on and everyone I messaged in the past , the listeners aren’t online. I understand the not being on 24/7. I can’t do that myself. Just was curious

@leannescarlett Levels are just an indication of how active you've been on 7 Cups, in total. They are not very important. More details here: Member Reputation. There are separate levels for listeners: Listener Reputation.
There was a time when posts in the forum had votes. You could vote a post up, but not down. Then the votes were changed to hearts, but you can still see signs of the old voting system. So "upvoted" means someone clicked the heart at the bottom of the post. It should now say "hearted", I suppose, but no one has got round to changing it.
To find listeners who are available to chat, go to Browse Listeners. Any listener with a Chat Now button should be available to chat.
When you have chatted to a listener in the past, you can go back to the chat and send more messages, even if the listener isn't online at that time. The listener will normally reply the next time they are online. You might be able to arrange a time to continue your chat.
