@wittyWatermelon7610
Hi there! Welcome to 7 cups. It sounds like you're going through a challenging time. Navigating relationships can be tough, especially when patterns like this keep coming up.
We have listeners here who can support you with relationship stress.
@Heather225
Hey!
I am a boy who have experienced a lot in my life. I am 18 years old and still processing things but feeling good about myself and life and I want everyone to be able to feel like I feel. I have been in a deep position ealrier in life and talking with someone really helped me, so now I want to give back and be able to help more people that has issues. I like sports, be with fiends, go party, help others, travel and to try new things.
Do not feel afraid of sharing something for the first time with me. It is one of the best ways to get rid of something that you do not feel so certain about and the first step of opening up.
Hey, @Zebashelper welcome to 7 cups!
It's awesome to hear how you've turned your experiences into motivation to help others feel the same sense of positivity and peace. Having been through challenges yourself, you probably have a deep understanding of how powerful a listening ear can be. Plus, it sounds like you bring a lot of energy and variety to life, which can really inspire people!
@Jenna
@Zebashelper 18 can be rough for some. I hope you can find the support your looking for here at 7cups.
Some people, find our Adult Chatrooms helpful, while others find chatting 1-1, with a listener helpful.
So I hope, you can find the right support, that works for you.
Welcome to 7cups. We are glad to have you here. My name is Mango. It is really nice to meet you here.
Welcome everyone joining us now. I have been part of this community for almost 6 years now. It has been incredibly soulful journey here. Makes you more humane. Good luck everyone.
@EmpoweringAlly It's nice to see a long term listener pop in!
@Heather225
Hey everyone, my name is CaptainPirate3, and I am new here to 7 cups. I have a heart for listening to people who are hurting. I'm still getting used to the platform and building my confidence as a listener, but I am excited about my time here, and I believe in the mission of 7 cups!
@captainPirate3 Hey CaptainPirate3! Welcome to the 7 Cups community! It's awesome to have you here. Don't worry about feeling new or unsure, we all start somewhere. Just keep being you, and you'll find your groove! 😊
@captainPirate3 Welcome to 7cups. We are so glad to have you here. My name is Mango. It is really nice to meet you. We are so glad your a listener here at 7cups. I am a retired listener here. What helped me gain confidence as a listener is, lots and lots of practice and time. But you will get the hang of it eventually. It is ok to make mistakes.
Also, I spent a lot of time, in the Listener Support Room here at 7cups.
It was helpful.
So, I would strongly recommend, that you spend as much time as possible, in there. You can learn a lot from the experienced listeners and meet some of the leadership, as well.
I wish you well, as you begin, your listener chapter, with 7cups.
Hello to everyone here. I am @IsaGuzNa9. I’ve got to know this amazing place 4 years ago but I wasn’t ready to start this journey. I then had the opportunity to become a yoga therapist in a psychiatric facility and was able to share with and listen to so many amazing people. Now I am living in a different country so I have the time and disposition to share with and listen to amazing people here.
Mi lengua materna es el español así que si alguien quiere compartir conmigo en él es bienvenido 🤗
Hugs and the best energy!
Support, hugs and ❤️s to you all :)
@isaguzn Welcome! I hope you make some great connections this time!
Hey am Liam a new listener, am still settling in and would appreciate all the support.
@Liamtaylor Welcome to 7cups. We are so glad to have you here. My name is Mango, it is really nice to meet you here. We are so glad your a listener here, as well. As for support as a listener, you can get support in many ways here at 7cups. One way is the listener support room. In there, they have Peer Supporters. They also have Chat Supporters. I am a retired listener here. I know they have that. They also have listener coaches as well. I hope this helps some. You can also find some listeners who mentor other listeners. Since you're new to listening, I would recommend that you get in touch with a mentor. A mentor is someone who has experience, and who has taken some training to help guide and support you a long, your listener path. A mentor is long term. While a coach is short term.
I wish you the best of luck in being a listener here, at 7cups.
@Heather225 I am a Burmese who is suffering a lot, I need someone to talk here
@kindBirch2953 Hi, hopefully you can connect with a supportive listener who is a good match for you.
Hi all I'm new to this completely but lived with multiple mental health issues for over 30 years and only recently been diagnosed. I want to get comfortable, make friends and share my story but I don't know how to begin and feel odd. My name is Leigh I'm male and 40 years old from London. I have been diagnosed with complex PTSD, BPD, EUPD Severe depression and anxiety and I suspect I also have either ADD or ADHD and Body Dismorphia.
@LeighUnruly40
Hi Leigh, Welcome to the community!
It's completely understandable to feel a bit odd or unsure about how to start. Many people who are new to sharing their experiences with mental health conditions feel the same way. Remember, you're not alone. There are countless others who have gone through similar experiences, and there's a supportive community here to listen and offer understanding. This really is a great place.
Thank you for the support
@LeighUnruly40 Welcome to 7cups. We are so glad to have you here. My name is Mango. It is really nice to meet you here.
