Hi! I'm Tevin and what brought me to 7cups was just an internal call. When I first got to know about this platform, an inner voice said to me "This sounds like us!" and I immediately joined 7cups. My goal here is simple: I just want people to feel heard and seen.

Hi everyone, My name is Favouredlily, and I’m so happy to be here as a listener.
What brought me to 7 Cups?Honestly, I believe I was meant to find this community. I was simply surfing the web when I came across 7 Cups. As I started reading about it, something immediately caught my attention because helping and volunteering has always been something I’ve wanted to do. The more I explored, the more I felt like this was something I could genuinely connect with.
What do I hope to find here? I hope to find a community where I can learn, grow, connect with people, and become a better and more resourceful version of myself. I was also excited to discover that there are different opportunities for personal growth here, not just helping others.
What are my goals for being part of the community? My biggest goal is to make a positive difference in the lives of the people I meet here. I want to be able to put a smile on someone's face, make their burden feel a little lighter, and remind them that they don't have to feel alone. At the same time, I want to keep growing, learn from others, take care of my own well-being, and build a life I will be proud of in the future, I also hope to become a professional therapist, so I see this as one of the places where I can learn and develop along that journey.
Why did I sign up to listen? Being there for people has been something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. I believe sometimes people don't need someone to solve their problems, they simply need someone who will listen, understand, and give them a safe space to express what they’re going through. If listening wholeheartedly can help someone feel a little lighter or less alone, then I’m happy to be that person.

Hello, my name is clairebear04! I'm 22 and I recently graduated with a bachelor's in biology. I'm an aspiring genetic counselor, which involves strong active listening and empathy skills. I hope to strengthen these skills as I support the individuals I serve through 7 Cups.
Having dealt with anxiety and OCD myself, I understand the importance of having someone to talk to. I'm looking forward to offering a listening ear to people that need it.
