No they don't. OCD is a progressive disorder and in fact, if left unattended, it gets worse. For OCD to get better, it is important to get it treated. Either through psychotherapy, or through medication, or sometimes both.

These tendencies likely will not decrease naturally with age, unless there is some form of intervention and help from a counsellor. These tendencies naturally decrease with exposure therapy and challenging those thoughts, and that does not happen very often naturally.
