I’m a college student just turned 20. The other day I found out I was pregnant after a casual hook up. My parents can’t find out but I don’t know what to do. I feel so alone - how do I make a choice?

Retake the test. Visit a gynaecologist Talk to your partner Let them know Also, you need to speak to your parents Decide what you want Do you want to keep the child? If yes, do you have the resources to bring up the child? If no, go for MTP or medical termination of pregnancy Ultimately it will be your body and choice But consult with a doctor if you do not want your parents to know Consult or talk to someone experienced DOnt be hasty or take rash decisions Be calm and then come to a conclusion Be absolutely sure of what you want, so that you dont regret it in the future.

I understand that you're feeling anxiety for worrying about your parent's reaction. In a way, talking to someone may help to ease your worries even just a little as let your pain known to others. Only you know what is the best for you and you do the best for yourself. It is important to share your feelings with your loved ones. You're afraid that your parents may not accept what has happened. You're young and do not lose hope. Being a single, young parent is difficult but there is nothing that is impossible to be overcome. Love and support from our family is one of the huge strength that keeps us motivated and upgoing.
