Life can be messy. Sometimes you need a little support to make your way through it. I love to help guide people through their challenges & to find the beauty in our messes.

Highlighting your notes makes them more appealing and better look at - to put it simply. It's a very effective way to revise and make your notes easier to understand. You should definitely continue to highlight important keywords for school as it helps you memorize them - especially if you have a photographic memory. I found it very helpful during my school years, it helped me memorize a lot of information. You're definitely on the right track. Just try to make sure you're not highlighting everything [sometimes we get lost in the beauty of the colors and end up highlighting everything haha].
Highlighting words can be really helpful to focus on the key facts and points within a large block of text, especially if you are a visual learner. There is nothing wrong with using highlighters and it's great that you've found something that works for you!
Colour coding can be really great too so the brain can associate different colours with different topics and facts and help improve your memory when revising and in exams or assessments.
Having multi coloured highlighters can also be a great was to brighten up your school day and it's little things that can bring us joy :)
