Yes, numerous times. It was right for me because the other people did not want to improve their mental health. The benefits are that i was free to grow. I also experienced a good sensation with that freedom. Grant it, stepping back also comes with pain sometimes.
So true stepping back does allow you to grow definitely and sometimes it isn’t easy agreed. But you knowing what exactly YOU needed is a gift to you for your mental health. 💕💕💕💕

I need to step back. I’m getting to attached to certain people in some of the rooms. Lost track of 1 of them. I haven’t seen them in days I’m really worried that I said something to drive them away. I tld them they were important to me.And they were the reason I was on this site because I enjoyed Chatting with them. Now they’re gone. Was it my fault they left ? It’s getting Darker all the pretty lights are Fading.I think the End is near.
Never under estimate the power of friendship and connection. It is natural to make friends here and they brighten your day.
So sorry you lost track of a friend. Be patient things may have popped up and they will resurface.

I remember a situation years ago when I was offered to do a job for someone. The financial site was quite attractive but I declined and stepped back. It would have been too much stress since the working conditions were not right. To me it was the right decision to step back and put my mental health first. I saved myself a lot of trouble and that made me proud of myself.
Stress is a huge factor in major life choices absolutely 💯 percent. You are self aware of what works for you and choose wisely. Thank you for sharing. 💕💕💕💕💕💕
I did step back. My mother loves me hangs around then gets mad and won't speak to me or hang around me. I got tired of off and on again love so I just avoid speaking with her. I'm tired of kissing butt and begging for her acceptance and love. She told me she hates me and I decided that was goodbye. I always push us to reconcile, but this time I gave up.

My dad and I had issues over the course of my life it was incredibly difficult and I struggled with my feelings a ton. Now that he passed I live with regret we couldn’t talk it out. Being stubborn like I am I stuck to my guns then but if I could talk to him and sort things I would.
