@amiablePeace77 I like to play computer games. OutSpell is like scrabble. I am also getting better at miniature gold on the computer. Hahaha well you said fun so hope you were not thinking of reading "War and Peace". lol

Creating Flamingo Day. Putting plastic flamingos in the yard. Bake a pinkcake with pink icing. Everyone( all 3 of us) will wear flamingo shirts. Trying to find a flamingos movie. If not then watching FreeBird. Flamingos Day the new International holiday😀

Our fun plans were squashed by even more restrictions. The rest of the weekend - who knows. I'm going to start prepping my garden beds, but that is really NOT fun. :)

I'm trying out various veggies. Sometimes things grow well, like peppers. Sometimes the wildlife eats more than I get. :) I'm just happy to pull a few veggies out each year for a nice salad.

Gardening is not always easy for sure but having your own freshly picked salad with veggies on the plate is something else! mmh

I expect to spend some more time in one or more of the musical gatherings that have sprung up to fill the gap left by cancelled conventions. Concerts are usually streamed via YouTube, and song circles over Zoom.

It's amazing how things can be arranged in different ways (online to still bring people together for events. What kind of concerts will you go to online?
@amiablePeace77 Filk music is the folk music of the science fiction fan community ("filk" was originally a typo, but it stuck) -- most SF conventions have a music track that includes both concerts and, later in the evening, song circles. The HELIOsphere convention was supposed to have been held in New York this last weekend; it was held over Zoom instead. Other conventions and gatherings have been using a combination of YouTube, FB, and a scattering of other streaming services for concerts.

Zoom seems to become very popular now, heard that people got married on zoom now. Just listened to a filk music trailer, sounds interesting, did not know about this music so thanks for teaching me something
@amiablePeace77 You're welcome. Search for "Pegasus Awards" -- sort of the filk equivalent of the Grammys -- for a collection of what the community thinks are the best songs, songwriters, and performers.
For the ultimate performance, search for "I Had a Shoggoth" -- it's a youtube video of Tom Smith (a brilliant and very fast songwriter) making up verses as he goes along, and Judi Miller (who has never heard the song before, obviously) translating it into sign language in real time. Has to be seen to be believed.
I was going to hike or to paint. But I'm in bed with pain.

I am passionate about my horses- waiting for the CV to settle down so I can work with horses/people again
Just able to schedule another islander to visit tommorow with her daughter- going to see if my new horse passes working with children on board!! He's a huge love bug goof.

@amiablePeace77- i cancelled it cause the girl was sick 2 weeks ago- fever/cough/sore throat etc- brings home how careful we need to be today. my 2 new horses are 14 and 18yo. thanks for asking- the 14yo is a 16h love bug. Goofy.
@amiablePeace77 Had some fun yesterday watching a program about the Bronx Zoo. A Red Panda had 2 babies. They were so cute!

Oh, so sweet . The Bronx Zoo is really worth a visit to learn about the wildlife. They also have full episodes like for turtles on animal planet.

@amiablePeace77 also coloring pictures of Easter eggs to put in street facing windows. This way kids can still have Easter egg hunt. You just drive around neighborhood and count who spots the most eggs.
