Q1. What's been the most memorable moment for you this past year?

When I realized that the world is unsafe no matter where I am. I felt it following the shooting in my neighboring town that happened in places I used to visit. Life is fragile, we all know it but it is different when the threat is so close and visable.

The most memorable moment?  Every second I got to spend at the lake this year, which was a lot!

Q2. What are you looking forward to in the year ahead?

I'm looking forward to a real vacation this year.  I need to get away for a while.

A lot of things happened this year, some good and some bad. I think the most rewarding thing for me was going back to grad school to get the degree I'd always wanted, recognizing that it's never too late. Additionally, my daughter got engaged, and my youngest son came out on the positive side after going through psychosis. I hope that 2024 keeps me on the same motivated path regarding my education, allows my youngest son to continue on his healing path, and brings health and happiness to all my loved ones. Oh yeah, inequality for all and world peace. Might as well ask for it all!

I can't answer the first question.

Goals for this year include finishing the blankety-blank-blanking cane project that has been unfinished for way too long, improving my lettering skills & riding my bike more often. All of this, of course, depends on whether or not my body cooperates.

What are you looking forward to in the year ahead? I'm looking forward to year with less physical work since pretty much everything has been done and I might get help in future to do things which become too hard and more me time to enjoy myself by learning new things, coming here of course  and chill out.

1. What's the most memorable moment of this past year? 

  Honestly, the first thing that comes to mind is being rear-ended in my car. That had a major impact (no pun intended) on my outlook of this past year. But I'll try to focus on all the little beautiful moments I've spent with my kids and my friends this year. So memorable moments are lots of little tiny moments that keep life interesting.

Lots more special little moments with family and friends. :)

Maybe the Christmas party at the community center where I go for group support meetings... it wasn't bad.
