I've never triwd salsa but regretfully admit to learning ballroom and Latin as a teenager, under duress I might add ð¤ªð¤ª

I learnt latin, ballroom and old time dancing under duress in my early teens because my dad had two left feet and was too awkward to, my parents wanted my elder sister to have a partner to dance ith when we went on our annual summer holidays.
During the lessons the teacher used to rotate between the ladies steps and gents, I was a bundle of energy and couldn't just sit and wait my turn, i'd climb through a window and scale a chain link fence to play football with mates I played with the rest of the week, the teacher would then call me back for the gents steps. This went on for weeks before my mum tweaked what I was doing to get so covered in mud in dance lessons. I never remembered a step, so when it got close to gradings i would have a week or two intense one on one teaching from the instructors husband in the reception area, I never failed a grading 😉 😉

I find it fascinating to watch cats, but they are watching us too! 😮 I recently read that it's normal that cats stare at us from a distance just for fun and even experienced it on the weekend!
Currently, I don't know exactly what to do. All I want is to get my work done, but I feel trapped. I have to pay my union dues and health insurance before the deadline, but I can't go out, and I don't know why. I need to renew my credit card and pick up my master's course certificate, but I can't go out, and I don't know why. I have to finish my master's thesis soon before the registration deadline, but I can't work, and I don't know why. I feel helpless, and I don't know why.

So sorry to hear that you're struggling right now and can't really pinpoint what causes you to feel this way and prevents you from doing what needs to be done. This can be very frustrating. I find when I suppress emotions, they can linger deep down, but occasionally they surface and cause discomfort. Does this sound familiar? It might help to connect with a listener for a supportive chat and some comfort.
What are things that made you feel empowered again before?
Yea sorry you are going through that. I have been through being stuck. I figured out I had ADHD and was totally burnt out. I have made some changes and gotten a little better but it is a lot of work. Good luck.

but there's a very nice italian book about the mountains where I live... it's called "The eight mountains"! They even made a film about it. It's very psychological and based on personal exeperiences of the author.

I sketch a bit of everythings, ideas for paintings, historical hairstyles (how they are made) but also architectural spaces, love letters with drawings, movies or people that inspire me and their quotes, observations/studies of how things work... I really got into Leonardo Da Vinci since I copied his hairstyle studies but mine is a very very chill basic version of him XD.
