Remembering @energeticDime8483

It is with a sad heart I let you know that @energeticDime8483, after a short terminal illness, passed away today and is now at peace.

Those on 7cups, especially in 35+ and 50+, would remember a lady full of compassion and support for other members no matter what she was going through in real life. Some of you would have seen her at 50+ Open Chat recently and know she wasn’t well.

If someone was in pain, she’d reach out, so they felt heard and seen. She’d be asked how she was and would pass it off as not important, asking the other person how they were and help them.

In her last few years of life, she went back to school and passed with high Honors. She worked with troubled children and teens, and in the latter months with Ukrainian refugee families until she became too sick to continue.

I think of her as a good friend as well as a fellow member of 7cups and she will be missed by me and all who knew her.

Dime was an inspiration to all who knew her.
