2 new Forum Mentor Leaders: Lyra & Roadie!
It is with great pleasure, that we invite 2 new forum mentor leaders to our team! Please join me in welcoming @Roadie & @Lyra to the team!
@Lyra has been a forum lover since she joined as a teen listener 2 years ago this month! Lyra is professional, engaging and thoughtful in all of her posts. She is proactive to solve problems and she is great at clearly articulating her ideas. Outside of her duties in the forum, Lyra loves quality. She is known to passionatly lead the verifed listener team training discussions & work with mentees.
@Roadie has been a staple in the 7 Cups forums for over 2 years. Roadie is a well spoken, thoughtful, kind and insightful leader. Many of you have seen his forum posts & shared in community with him in the forum. Through his time at 7 Cups, Roadie has done an awesome job managing his time in the community. He sets an excellent example in terms of setting boundaries and practicing proactive self-care. He is an excellent teacher to anyone interested in becoming more active in the forums.
Note: Roadie is returning to Mentor Leader after some time away from the role. We are thrilled to have him back!

I'm not around as of current, but I had a gut instinct telling me to check back on here today, and it must've been a #twintelepathy kinda thing.
My gorgeous twinheart, @Lyra, this is... I don't even know what to say at this point. I know that what you do on this site is just but one of the many testaments to your beautiful, shining spirit. And my god, the forums would be in pieces without their very lovely queen worm. You do what you do here with so much grace, love, sass, humility, compassion and warmth, and all in such a beautiful manner that seems quite unworldly, if I may say. You're a real force to be reckoned with, especially in the forums. (Remember our domination plans? One step closer, twinny, we got this. *wink wink*) I'm so very proud to read this announcement and I could scream with how much excitement I'm feeling for you! I'm so happy for you, dear twinny, and I know you'll bring a whole new level to forum leadership. I love you, sweet twin, from my heart to yours. And you deserve a Forum Ambassador position, if I'm honest, girl. Can't believe my luck to land a twin that shares my heart and soul. <3
And dear ol' @Roadie, who's never really stopped being a strong influence in the forums. If I thought of the forums as having a guardian angel, I think it'd be you. Watchfully, thoughtfully, mindfully. Your opinion is something so wise and so valued, and your thoughts even moreso. I can't begin to think of how many people you've inspired to first approach the forums, knowingly or otherwise. Be it 10000 years on from now, I still think that your footsteps will be imprinted in stone permanently.
It makes me so incredibly happy to read this announcement, but maybe I'm being biased because it's two of my favourite people ever. I'm ecstatic for you guys, and I know that the forums will only continue to blossom even more beautifully under your gentle, guiding hands.
(I've lost my touch with writing, as nonexistent as it was, so I apologise for something that's not written to the best I could. Will be poking your notifications when I'm back and better. <3)

I'm new to 7cups but I'm doing my best and trying to uplift the forums and any advice is welcome.
