Marcelo, you're the loudest and proudest supporter for QLP, on a consistent basis and have been a "face" for this awesome program for a long time now. You have immensely strong leadership skills, as Hope already mentioned, along with that, you're just one of the "examples" around here and I'm so excited to see you unfold more of your magic, with this shiny feather in your cap, thank *you*, for stepping up as an ambassador. Thank you, Hope for this wonderful announcement and your kind and appreciative words that fill my heart with joy!

First and foremost, congratulations to Hanna ( @Positivepumpkin22 ), on her new super-hyper well-deserved Ambassador role. If I was the president of a country I would wish my top Ambassador was Hanna, hands down

She is such a wonderful person, I don’t have the words to express what a wonderful being she is. Maybe only those who had the great luck of working alongside her, or were mentored by her, will understand what I mean. 

She is a most enthusiastic, brilliant, kind, knowledgeable and encouraging person, Hanna was the first Mentor at the LDP creation, years ago, she returned and later became LDP Mentor Leader, so she has shown consistent love and loyalty for the LDP, and her experience with the Program is vast. 

Even more, Hanna proposed me for this role (as Ambassador) some time ago. I am super grateful to her for her trust and friendliness in taking this initiative, which entails the responsibility of endorsing a person for such a significant role. 

On one hand the title of “Ambassador” has significance in 7 Cups as a whole, something that honors me, I greatly appreciate and thank the 7 Cups leadership for their trust. I guess that @GlenM and @Heather225 were involved, so thank you to both, and any others who gave me a thumbs up for this.

On the other hand, my application to this role has a reason and a rationale internal to the QLP, as part of an ongoing process to strengthen the QLP Team. A process that is going great, and becoming Ambassador is a milestone that helps it move forward, which makes me very happy. 

@Hope invited me to apply to QLP Ambassador in the context of our brainstorming of ideas on how strengthen the QLP Team. Laiba is such an inspiring and encouraging leader, who had also showed me her trust when inviting me to apply as Mentor Leader before. She is very very intelligent and conscientious, she doesn’t take any decision lightly. And she loves the QLP, her brainchild. So I am fully aware of the significance and high trust involved in inviting me to take leadership positions in the Quality Listening Program. 

I feel greatly honored and hugely grateful to Laiba for this.  I admire her so much, she is brilliant and highly learned (which is very fitting for a Dean of an academic institution), extremely conscientious in her work and a compassionate, kind and humane person. The ultimate “leader by example”. So having her trust is very significant to me, and I have to confess, a great boost to my self-esteem. Like “Wow, Laiba offered me this leadership position, so she believes in me, she sees good qualities in me!” This is a big thing.

Last but not least at all, the QLP is blessed with an amazing Mentor Team, which made me “look good” as Mentor Leader well beyond my merits, due to the personal qualities of each of its members. Thanks to them, the QLP almost runs by itself at the highest quality standards.

Their love and loyalty to the QLP and its mission is expressed in concrete ways by their conscientious and high-quality work, and their enthusiastic and warm encouragement to our Trainees. It has been said that "Good trees bear good fruit. Thus, by their fruit, you will know them." and this is very much the case. 

As teammates, every interaction is a joy to me. 

I have talked about Hanna, a most enthusiastic, knowledgeable and encouraging person, who being an LDP Mentor and holding high leadership positions in other teams, had the uncommon humility and goodwill to serve as QLP Mentor as well. She has always been willing to take more work despite her demanding commitments in 7 Cups and in real life.

@Mari228 is the Mentor most involved in all aspects of the QLP. Their commitment, conscientiousness, responsiveness and effectiveness are top-notch. We understand each other with few words and I feel reassured that everything we talked about they will do to perfection. They have always been willing to take any task even beyond their area of responsibility. You have a very high growth potential in the QLP. The sky is the limit for you. All my gratitude to you for the peace of mind you bring into my life when delegating tasks knowing with certainty that they will be and done extremely well. 

Ruhi ( @ComradeRuhi ) has a special place in my heart. She is the Poet of the team, and a brilliant writer, from the funniest things (read her hilarious profile  7cups.com/@ComradeRuhi ) to very deep and personal reflections on the big issues in life. I am an admirer of her poetry (all available in the Poetry Community where she is the Forum Supporter). So we have this other emotional connection that helps also our interactions at the QLP. She is the kindest, warmest most uplifting person you can imagine, which makes her ideal as a Mentor. On top of that, her commitment and conscientiousness at the QLP is absolute. Her task is crucial for the functioning of the Program, and she does it perfectly and timely like a Swiss watch. The QLP works well in great part thanks to Ruhi.

@Amber005 is also a very responsive and conscientious Mentor while fulfilling her tasks at the QLP. Despite being very taken by highly demanding studies and other activities, she complies routinely with her responsibilities which are very important for Trainees completing the Program and graduating. 

I also want to express my gratitude to the two new Mentors-in-Training who recently joined the Team and are contributing to strengthening it:

@QuietListener has shown total commitment to her role, and is already taking a workload at the same level as seasoned Mentors. Her great disposition, and kind, tactful, warm personality make her an ideal Mentor to reassure and encourage our QLP trainees.

@ABrightBlueHeart always overflowing with enthusiasm, was willing to take on one of the most complex tasks in the QLP process, which required learning many details, and has performed it to perfection. A fast learner, hard-working person, and a superb team player.

I feel extremely grateful to you all in this very important moment in my journey as a volunteer in 7 Cups.
