Me emotionally breaking down or getting emotionally worked up doesn’t mean I’m being over dramatic or that the emotions I’m giving off are invalid; ungrateful. After some self reflection and venting on here a bit I realized I’ve been emotionally denied to express my true emotions and forced to suppress my emotions to make my parents happy for almost all my life.

I do plan to work on myself and be better, and begin having my independence.

I definitely learned more self care and how important it is for me to focus on my goals. Since i suffered from MDD a lot of things have changed, i can see myself growing and having more opportunities

I learned that its a pure joy for me to support others and be kind to everyone 🌸♥️

Hi @jasmimeishereforu 👋🏼 . These are really nice lessons you've shared: self-care and focusing on goals. These heavily align with my recent lessons, too. I wish you and other much success in this journey!

@Hope

Hi, I’ve learned how strong and determined I am.

Also I’ve learned how much I enjoy helping others and reaching out to them in difficult times.

The realization struck me very clearly and deeply that people could try to upset my apple cart but they can never take away my peace of mind nor touch/torment my soul and inner sanctum.

@Hope

in the past three months, one new thing that i learned about myself was that if i was persistent about it, i could actually be good, or maybe even great, at my time management.

@Hope

I have learned to give space to people to how they want to respond and approach the situation. I am not responsible for everything so let others decide and face it. I do care and suggest only if someone asks. My energy and words are too precious, if you want it then make an effort.

Whew, this is kinda hard for me I learned I can forgive others for some pretty bad things done to me. Learned that my temper is still there but I don't get physical like I use to. I handle things with more maturity like I thought that would ever happen lol. I have confidence and still have my morals and will stand beside them. And most of all I care more than I ever thought I did.
