Here are the list of questions being asked in today AMA session:
1. What is 7 Cups Academy?
The 7 Cups Academy is a tuition-free institution that trains members, listeners, and researchers to develop skills and better care for our community. These are professional skills that are of great use even outside 7 Cups.

2.What is the room?
7 cups Academy is a pop-up room that only opens when there are sessions happening. AMA CDM stands for "Ask Me Anything Content Development Marketing". It's a session hosted by CDM's mentors with the purpose of answering any queries that you have about CDM.
3. What kind of things do you learn with a CDM program?
"The current program focuses on teaching writing tips and social media content creation practices to help generate and shape valued content to be used to aid mental health awareness and support, both at 7 Cups and for any personal projects/opportunities interested trainees may participate in. The program utilizes practical tasks and assignments to combine learned and personal strengths-based skills and lead to experience and contribution within the 7 Cups community." - Read more HERE
4. Are those used on the 7cups site?
During the course, you will be responding to CDM forum's threads as a part of your assignments. There will also be an option to publish your work or use your work on social media, but this is entirely optional.
5. What types of contents? And are we going to be learning how to manage social media on behalf of 7 cups?
You can learn to write long article, Q&A, twitter's post, learn to make free visual media contents to illustrate your writings,...You won't be learning to manage social media on behalf of 7cups, but you will learn useful tool on how to use twitter's keywords hashtag which can aid you if you plan to join Team LightShip.
6. Is Team LightShip part of the Academy?
No. Team LightShip is a separated project. You can find more information HERE. What you learn from CDM can be helpful for you when you join Team LightShip though.
7. Where does the contents we write go then? Where is it applied?
The writing assignment for coursework that you write during for your coursework will be posted on CDM's forum discussion threads.
Q&A assignments will be on Q&A Page and fresh article for your final assignment will be posted here after passed editorial check.
You can also use the contents for your own purpose such as writing Q&A, forum's post, on 7cups or outside of 7cups.
8. Like you still write an article but not publish it?
Yes, we always ask for permission from you to first before publishing any of your works.

10. How long is the program, is there a test to graduate?

Every program participant will be on a two-week trial which will aid in determining whether this program is a good fit for you.

11. What else is in the program as content apart from writing?
You will learn how to make your own visual media content too!
12. How many hours will it require me a day?
Personally I would say 2 hours a day but this is truly subjective.
13. I applied a couple of days back. I haven't heard yet
All Academy trainees on-boarded weekly on Monday ET time.

14. Is everything equally distributed? Or does the program get rigourous at some point?
There are weeks that the courseworks can be a bit heavier than others, but it's not going to be an abrupt change. I would personally say that the course is distributed quite equally. It's also is a good idea to preview the workloads of the upcoming weeks if you've already finished the current week's assignments to be mentally prepared.

Hi! May I ask a question? My CDM program final date is 8/2, and I have yet to see a link anywhere for the final evaluation form.. could someone please point me in the right direction? :)

For now, we haven't used any form for Final Evaluation. All works that you have submitted will go through final evaluation. 💜
