My name is Ruth. I am from the Caribbean. My family is a mixture of cultures this is what I just found out. As a little girl I knew nothing about racism, but I learned it as a child when my friend told me that when we got older he couldn’t date me. His father seemed to be teaching him racism at an early age. My friend is no longer close to me, but he taught me some lessons as a child which I am very grateful for and I learned.

I'm pretty reserved/private about my personal life, so this is what I came up with. I have two degrees, but I don't use them for anything, and I don't feel comfortable naming my degrees, school, or anything like that. Hey, I don't have a genuine social media account for a reason. By keeping it vague, maybe the reader will think I'm some cool spy on a wickedly dangerous mission who has to hide his or her identity.
