1) Introduction to Content and Marketing at 7 Cups (OUTDATED)

I am interested in the Content volunteer team and creating content on social media. I am an artist working on my writing skills to create art and stories to spread mental health awareness, break stigmas, and create art that shows/says "I see you and I hear you. you're not alone in your healing journey."

I'm definitely more interested in content over marketing. I know in order for people to see/utilize content, marketing is important, but I have always been more of a writer than a "hey! Look at this!" type of person. I like writing a lot and have won awards and received a journalism scholarship for my first year of college. I'm also a bit strange in that I've always love writing research papers and essays. I've been considering creating my own coaching business and content and marketing are hugely important in creating your own business. I just need to build confidence in these areas, so while I'm primarily excited about content creation I know the marketing part will also be helpful!

Which current area of the Content or Marketing focus at 7 Cups interests you the most?

I'm mainly interested in the Content Volunteer Team. The focus I'm the most interested in (because I'm interested in them all) but also geared more towards is the Question and Answers (Q&A pages) content because I feel not only would I be helping others, I'd be helping myself, and learning a lot. I wouldn't just learn through researching things, but by reading the actual existing posts and answers. I'm also extremely interested in All Other Content Needs for several reasons: first, the exposure I'd get for learning new things, it sounds like it would be challenging and I love a challenge, I might get the opportunity to be in on "the ground floor" so to speak, by possibly being one of the first to contribute to something new, and I tend to get bored easily, so the opportunity to have varied, multiple assignments would pl keep my interest renewed.

And oh yeh...I love to write!

I'm also interested in Team Lightship, but pretty much only with the following:

(i) Outreaching to 20 people with compassionate messages and support per month

(ii) Generating content and posting 5 posts.

I'm not really involved with social media much, anymore, though, but I guess I could give it a go. However, I do have one (social media site) that I'd like to suggest for you to consider, if you're interested. But then again, it may not be a good fit for this platform...🤔

First of all, I am so grateful to be a part of this program. I think the area that interest me the most is Contant volunteer teams initiative to provide expert mental health, news and advice. Providing fresh content for this project will not only support my skills in content, creating and marketing, but also allow me to gain knowledge of current mental health research.

I am more interested to be part of the Content Volunteer Team, I have more talent in creating and editing content than in social media promotion/marketing. So to use my skillset to the maximum and to enjoy my time here I would prefer to write some content. Additionally, I already have some experience in content development and have direct and indirect experiences in a lot of psychology related areas like Depression, Anxiety, Personality Disorders. Thus I feel my abilities would be better suitable for the CVT.

Hello Soul!

I am interested in Team Lightship, where I can spread awareness about mental health in order to reduce stigma. Even though people and companies have tried their best to spread this information, there's still more work to be done, and every help is appreciated 🌻

I'd like to reach out to individuals on social media who are in need of support, empathetically support them and even recommend 7 cups as I've observed that it's a very helpful platform 😊 I'd also like to reduce myths on mental health and focus on how it is as important as physical health 💛

The current area of Content and Marketing that interests me the most is creating Q&A and Team Lightship. I am interested in Q&A because I have been able to do some of that work as an active listener. I think it is important that research be used to back up the answers for the Q&A and ensure they are quality to best serve our membership. Team Lightship interests me because I have always wanted to do more outreach, and pairing that with content creation to help others that might not know about 7 Cups would be amazing. A huge feature of 7 Cups is its accessibility. I look forward to how much both of those areas will help me grow especially trying out other areas of interest.

Writers are welcome to collaborate with experts to publish co-authored articles or produce content individually to be published under the 7 Cups Community Account.
