Hi everyone! November is here and I hope everyone is staying warm and looking forward to the festival season! I am here with another dinner, this time, with @blissart! For those that don't know, Dinner With Our Alumni is a series of small interviews that I conduct with 7 Cups Academy alumni to know more about their journey in the program. This post is dedicated to the Content Development and Marketing (CDM) Program! The aim is to spread more awareness about the program and hope everyone gives it a read!

So a little about blissart! @blissart joined as an active listener here in November 2019. Since then, they have been exploring the platform, did some trainings, took some leadership roles and overall having a productive and rewarding time here. The community is grateful for them as they take on many roles, keeping the community safe, interactive, and lively.

What was on the menu? bliss says they are not a foodie and anything can provide some nourishment - so we had some salad!

Without further ado, here's bliss for you:

What made you join the CDM program?

CDM is one thing that i was always curious about as much is online these days and I wished to upgrade myself on this and to use it in real life opportunities!

How was your experience doing the coursework?

The program was exciting. Very well created and helped complete beginners like me to understand and learn fast with theory and practical approach.

Which was your favorite activity in the program?

I enjoyed creating graphics. It helped unleash the creativity.

How did you enjoy writing an article?

Writing an article was something I wasn’t doing for a long time. I enjoyed it a lot as it helped to go out of comfortable zone, research, be more informed and use writing skills with a new set of techniques.

What advice would you give to a new CDM trainee?

The program is very well drafted, just go with the flow and do assignments on time.

What are some new things you learned about content through the coursework?

It was all very new type of learning for me and I feel happy I enrolled for this program. From using key words to writing articles to graphic designing, I learnt much. And also the resources provided were very helpful.

How can mentors offer better support for the program?

Mentors have always been very supportive and patient. A big shout out for their support and efforts!

How did you enjoy creating graphics for the program?

Creating graphics was fun and learning experience. It was something I really enjoyed and with each passing step, the learning improved and so did the creativity with all the resources that were provided. It’s awesome how graphics can impact so much in conveying one’s ideas and generating interest.

Thank you for reading till here! I would love to hear any suggestions/question ideas that I can add to this series. If you are an CDM graduate and would love to contribute, please PM me so we can set up our dinner! Meanwhile, please give a big shout-out to @blissart for doing this, you're amazing!

Listeners in 7 cups are awful, they aren't available when you need them and they don't reply when you ask a question, does 7 cups want me to contact their therapists and pay some money? It's really a very bad and awful experience.
