One word I'd use to describe my depression is.....
Opportunity to fight with your thoughts and learn from them.
@viola05 it's supposed to be one word
@lyricalSun11
That's opportunity. I explained it further. Haha..
nerve-racking
A Blessing.
Crazy, I know... how can Depression be a Blessing? Through personal experience, its given me so many challenges I wish I could get rid of and be healthier in my life. But I look at the loved ones in my life Ive met through mutual support on mental health and other big life circumstances, and it made me realize Depression was a Gift; it helped me recognize who the Broken truly are, it made me appreciate the good times all the more, it helped me see the world through other peoples eyes and gain perspective on their life (huge for empathy since most days I worry my Pervasive Developmental Disorder keeps me from Feeling and Understanding people sometimes). Depression both Ruined and Gifted my Life. Its the greatest Hell on Earth, and I wouldnt trade it for anything else. Ive helped people out of Suicide, comforted others with similar struggles to change small aspects of their lifestyle to be happier, and have been Educated (and helped Educate) on so much I never knew until I experienced it all for myself.
Call me a natural born fighter, but Im Honored to battle this Illness with loved ones by my side to catch my back when I fall wounded for a while.
Overwhelming
Invasive
it seems like it takes over everything about me and my life.
Isolating
Scary- I dont know whether to run, hide, or fight it
Hell
bleek.

You can feel empty alot. It's hard to explain for so many people. I am always here for you and 7 cups is here too. Don't be afraid to talk to a listener.
