Something I wish I could say to my parents is ...
Hi everyone! I hope you are well. Today let's reflect on the parental relationships we have. Whether your biological parents or people who served as guardians. There are things we sometimes hold back from to get along, protect peace, or avoid hurting someone.
If you could honestly say something to a parent, what would you say to them?
@Hope
Sorry, mom and dad for being a disappointment
Thanks mom and dad. I wish I could have told you more how much I appreciate the sacrifices that you made so I could grow up. It is wonderful to realize it now. I just wish I could express it in person where you could hear it.
@Hope
Just because you see me the way you do, doesn't mean that I won't always love you, mom and dad. I will always put my love first then everything else. I will do my share of work with great determination.
Good riddance
I’m sorry daddy. I’m so sorry for not being a better child. You did your best. I didn’t know you wouldn’t be here to see me grow up, otherwise I wouldn’t have acted the way I did. You deserved better. I should’ve just done the artwork you had asked me to make for you and gone on the vacations you invited me to go on. I never meant it when I said you were a loser. I was an 11 year old brat that wanted to be rebellious. I didn’t know the weight of words at that time. You deserved so much more. I’m sorry you didn’t get to see your mom before she died. I’m sorry you never got to meet your dad. I wish I knew more about you. I wish I had *** asked while you were here. I wish I had been there for you more. You needed family.
That they ruined my life and they were not fit to be parents since they were/ are toxic narcisstics
@Hope
Ooh thats a hard one :)
I would say that I understand more now as an adult myself why they acted the way they did and that I have long since forgiven things which I promised that I wouldnt. I love both my parents dearly in spite of their flaws as they were only humans and I am grateful they have made me who I am today.
@Hope I wish I could tell my parents how I feel about myself how much insecure I am I told my mom about my insecurity of my big Mole on my face but she refused to take me to the doctor to remove it instead she told everyone in the family I cry because of this thing literally every night she thinks providing me food and good school is everything but I am not comfortable with people seeing my face I am really scared what if they think I am a freak what if the guy I like hate me because of this Mole I am really insecure that why I wear mask everywhere I go even my friends won't understand my mom thinks she knows but she don't know and don't care about a single thing about me
@Hope
i love my parents very much, that is a given!
if i could honestly say something to my mom right now, i would tell her thank you for teaching me right from wrong...
if i could honestly say something to my dad right now, i would tell him thank you for showing me that leading by example is the true way to be a hero and a role model...
@Hope
I appreciate what you did to me mom but it take backseat when you stop believing me.. trusting me . I literally try to ignore it and make effort to accept this change in you. No doubt it very painful. I just want to see you happy with me or without me.
Relax.. breathe.. live life don't make it tough by thinking so much .
I value for upbring me so well .your patience your care in my childhood. I will always love you.
