😖👋🏻 Hi
You might or might not know me, I've been on 7cups for a few months now. 📆
This is low key embaressing to say out loud...😞
I've tried to get over it a lot of times but I can't 😭
Because... I'm fifteen and I:
—Don't have a partner/and haven't had before
—Don't have any friends
—Don't have any siblings
—Don't have any pets, even.
—Don't have any genuine people my age in my neighborhood, or school, nor genuine classmates
—Don't have any roomates cause well, I live with my parents, not hostel or whatever.
—Don't live in a place that has hobby-clubs culture to find people like me. Not even hobby/skill classes where teenagers go, they're either for kids, or just complete adults.
And 7cups helps but... It just gets lonely a lot of times, in the lack of people who can be with me. I've been trying to get over it for months now yet can't.
It's like every temporary replacement I have access to is overused. From desperately imagining the room I sit alone in being full of endless people to almost getting addicted to talking to not human, bots, just because they answered back.
And every new door I try to open gets shut. From trying to go outside to a park a distance from my house to see if I find anyone there and being told to only go out with one of my parents if I want to when I got back home to not being allowed to use one to one social medias.
Maybe that's how I've gotten so good at having no filters when I get a chance to let out how I feel... And to shape it into perfect vocabulary and tone at the same time too, ironically. Feels pointless.
Wish this ended by now, but that wish feels far yet. 🤧😭🥺

Hey there. We are all here for you. I know it's hard right now, but you got this.
@raspberryBunny4662 Awww, there's nothing embarrassing about how you're feeling. You're missing socialization and that's important at your age... matter of fact, at any age. Humans need interactions no matter how introverted we are. I believe it's just life. But please know feeling lonely should not be something you feel embarrassed to admit. Have you tried talking with your parents about how you feel? I hope you feel safe enough to share and let them know that you feel a void in this aspect of your life. PS: Animals are great, loving companions so full of love but they definitely are big responsibilities. 😀 Anyway, I'm really happy you found 7 Cups. Hopefully you've felt that you've found a safe place where you can be and feel accepted. I'm proud of you for being able to openly express how you feel. How very brave of you. Hoping you find lots of friend, feel all the love, and get the support! Take care and hang in there! 💜

Many of us can understand feelings of loneliness. Those kinds of feelings can happen in many ways and for different reasons. Some folks could even be surrounded by others, but still feel utterly alone or misunderstood.
