Do you find your pain beautiful?
Do you find your pain beautiful?
Do you look at yourself from outside your body? Where things feel as light as a feather? And you can see a beautiful being trapped by chains? And you just feel love for it. There is no judgment, only understanding of the human state. Every part of this being is beautiful... the anger, the tears, the smiles.... its shining in its values and achievements but its in pain because it cant see all that ? Because it cant see the shine and only you can see it from outside ?
Are you able to connect to this outside-the-body self to feed the one inside the body?

@Creamyyy hi sweetie 💖 you are definitely one of those beautiful people 💖 such a kind heart and amazing personality💖💖
If you saw me face to face you would run away screaming monsttterrrrr, not saying oh look at that beautiful girl 🙂 but if you were looking within side me, well that bit should be beautiful, cause I eat makeup😁💖
But in all honestly it's really hard to see the beauty within yourself🙁
Girl, no saying bad things about yourself. Not allowed <3 Your thoughts are LYING to you! You’re gorgeous, with or without legs. With or without fingers. Do fingers and legs make someone beautiful? No! Their smile and their kindness and their heart do. So you’re missing some parts. Who cares? You’re amazing and BEAUTIFUL, girl. Embrace that. Take it and claim it and make it your own <3
@jesusredeemedme2425 💖💖 I'm trying 💖

When pain becomes abundant and you face it constantly, it becomes beautiful even to the point that you wish and pray for more and more, because you know pain is for the strong. But later, you may feel that what you wished for has come true, yet you don’t mind because you trust that you are strong and will not break. Of course, just as there is sadness, there is happiness, and this is the law of life. Nothing is easy—if everything we wished for came true, life would have no value.
Thank you for the beautiful post.
@Creamyyy
I don’t know that I’ve viewed my pain as beauty.
I’ve become more aware of it and started to provide my body with love and care it has deserved for some time.
i think my pain though is responsible for my personality and qualities. I’ve acknowledged people’s compliments too by saying “thank you.” I still often wonder if there is truth behind them. In effort to trust I have to put some of me out there as well.
I’m not sure that I will ever consider my external body as beautiful. Some days, I enjoy my outfit or the way my hair came out and that is about it.
I meant: by seeing the beauty of your pain, you can transcend it.
Your acceptance/ awareness is a great step forward. It will translate into a stronger body image too .. I love how you realise that your pain releases through creativity of your personality. I feel that too.

“by seeing the beauty of your pain, you can transcend it.”
You have made me think 💛
Honestly, it’s weird and kinda crazy but I’ve always believed I look uglier than a potato sack. Now, it’s like my brain is choosing to classify my looks as “beautiful” because it has found another pain I can go through if I actually got to be beautiful or pretty or whatever
I know that doesn’t make sense but I guess that’s one of the reasons why I am scared/ don’t want to feel better, because this is proof that even if I survive my bad thoughts, I’d always find new ones to feel suffocated
Maybe you have a lot of complexities to clear out. But you dont have to do it all at once. You can be patient with not knowing some of the answers while you're persistent in trying to find them. Is it possible to feel good inspite of the bad thoughts? If you just observe them and not get too entangled by them?

Hmm. That's deep.
I think I have a complicated stance on pain. I always wondered why I felt so much, but now that it's mostly gone, I feel lighter. But does that imply one should experience pain in order to feel lightness? That doesn't sound beautiful to me. That sounds like madness.
Yet, I see so much beauty now. Everyone seems to have perfect faces, even if they seem imperfect. I often cry at the thought of so many struggling, because I know it can be a long and difficult road.
I wish there was no pain. It's a world I'm trying to imagine.
I'm not sure I can dive deeper on these feelings at the moment. I love life, see beauty, hate pain, but don't know how profound joy would be possible without it. I hate that we hurt each other. I hate that we doubt ourselves and think we are not worthy.
The lament itself is a kind of beauty, but I cannot ignore the tragedy.
I dont think one has to deliberately dive into pain to know lightness. Pain happens - its inevitable - its part of the human life package we signed up for on being born.
Im implying to show compassion to our own pain.... see the child in it, see the hero in it. Be be to smile at your navigation journey through life. Being yourself but also being your own parent .
I see the tragedy of human suffering .... but i also see a beauty in being able to be able to empathise with the tragedy and rise to the occasion and do your part of displaying compassion... tragedy is an opportunity to fulfil the divine purpose.

Aw this was such a thought-invoking prompt, thanks for sharing your thoughts and for tagging me!💛
Pain is a part of life, I feel. Not saying that one needs the bad to see the good, but that the presence of bad makes us appreciate the good even more and in that respect, pain is beautiful, it’s cathartic and it helps humans connect with oneself and others better.
Anything that made us stronger, better, kinder~ played its part and played it well. 💛
I have finally come to accept that in my pain, comes beauty and light, unconditional love. The art of Japanese kintsugi is taking broken pottery and sealing the pieces with gold, making it whole and more beautiful for having been broken. It beautifully illustrates Rumi's quote, the wound is where the light enters you. I used to ask, why was i given all these burdens that make life so much more challenging than others? The response is its a matter of perception. You can either see a broken vessel and find it flawed or find that in its brokenness, it has been made beautiful. Often transcendent, magnetic and radiant once this has been accepted. There is something raw, powerful, unapologetically beautiful about a person who has weathered and endured the worst of life's storms alone, and comes out the other side, healed, or healing, but a beacon of hope to others.
It often gives a sense of purpose and meaning, depth and character to a rather ordinary existence. In navigating that journey, gifts, talents, abilities, strengths, truths, wisdom, lie in its wake to be revealed. Within is found respect, and self love. All these gifts transcend pain and I am grateful for it. The moment you can find the gratitude in your pain, you have arrived.

Do I find my pain beautiful?
My struggle forged me. I dearly hope there is a time where one need not break to bounce.
It's been a tough life.
I worked on reducing my pain. I wanted to heal. But, I found balance in perspective, a kind of integration.
That does come with happiness, but the absence of suffering is paradoxically its own form of suffering.
Sadness is often entangled with happiness, which can lead to a state of uplifting calm. Each tear can feel like a word made of honesty.
It always sounds complicated when I try to explain it.
Do I find my pain beautiful? Yes and no. The pain of another? Never ever. Do I want or like pain? Not in the slightest.
I just... feel very in touch with my emotions, and they're usually very even, with a spicy electric kick ^^
The fact that you cant bear to see anyone in pain is so endearing. Im the same way. I want to close my eyes when I see someone else suffering - it hurts me as well. You have a beautiful heart.
I guess when i wrote this post, i was thinking of my own pain journey, of how relief felt so sweet, after the ordeal, that even the pain seemed worth the reward. I feel like acceptance of pain makes me feel graceful... thats the idea of beauty im implying...
