Hello everyone!
In honor of Bullying Awareness Week, we are launching a special community initiative to deepen our understanding of bullying and its lasting impact. It is a time for us to come together, support one another, and educate ourselves on how to recognize and heal from these experiences.
@AnnaSilverberg has created a very special Growth Path for this occasion: Exploring Effects of Bullying
This is a 6-day high-impact growth path that also includes a workbook designed to help you reflect on the steps, get the most out of your journey, enrich your knowledge, and carry what you learn with you well beyond the path.
🌟 Earn a Badge! We want to hear from you. Please take some time to work through the growth path, then come back to this thread and reply with one thing you learned. Everyone who replies with their takeaway will be awarded a special badge for their efforts!
As we go through this path, it’s important to remember this core truth:
"Bullying is more than just “being mean. It’s repeated behavior meant to hurt, control, or exclude someone😔 💗 No one deserves to experience or go through bullying, that includes you 💗"
Anna has put a lot of love and effort into this growth path, and I am very proud of her. Please take the time to go through it and let us know what you think!
And feel free to tag others! Together, we can combat bullying by being informed!
Thank you so much Anna and Heather
✨🙏🏽✨
This means a lot to me as I’ve experienced terrible bullying at work a few times!! This last one, really had an impact on me and my health
I had the time to finish the workbook and path and what stayed with me is the importance to have a “toolbox of strength” particularly when you don’t have a safe person and you are working in the middle of nowhere…
Thanks again!

my experience suppose matter to
@Heather225 @AnnaSilverberg I really wanted to just skirt through and hurry up and complete the growth path, but decided I would take my time. So instead, I'm doing it one day at a time and going slow. It's only day 3 now, but I can definitely see all the love and thought Anna put into making this growth path! It's definitely something we can all benefit from. I don't care how nice and kind we can be, the truth is we are all guilty of being bullies at one time or another. When I read about bullying, it really makes me think... this is not how and who I want to be. I'm a work in progress and have played all roles-- bully, bystander, and victim. I'm not proud of it, but it's the truth. Anyway, I decided to do my workbook this way. Here's my completion up to day 3 so far. Will post the rest of my workbook on day 6. Thanks again for this!

I absolutely love your input, and the fact that you're going to take
this wonderful path day by day. That shows how much effort you're putting in.
And speaking of effort! Wow! The way you put your own style in that workbook,
I absolutely love love love it! It just shows how much effort you willingly put into learning.
And you're absolutely right, I feel that we're all guilty of bullying at some point in our lives.
Whether it be intentional or not, it's definitely something that we always need to be mindful of.
And I especially love the part about where you say that jokes can hurt, how the intention is what
truly matters. Because when people make jokes that can hurt others, it can be by accident,
but it can as well be intentional, which is never a good thing.
✨ Thank you so much for being the amazing person that you are ✨
✨💙✨
@Heather225 I really love this idea. 💗Super creative.
@Heather225 A reminder that we all deserve respect from others 😄
finished!
@heather225 I have realized that my experiences of being bullied made me less inclined to physically intervene if I see someone else in that situation, instead I would alert an authority figure, distract or film the scene.
@Heather225 @AnnaSilverberg
Thank you for creating this valuable growth path. It is obvious that it was created with so much love, understanding and empathy (and a lot of hard work too!)
My takeaway was how you emphasized that voicing one's disapproval of the behavior, refusing to participate, walking away and telling someone in authority are all empowering acts that can have profound impact.
@Heather225 ill never understand wanting to hurt someone (atleast innocent someone) over and over again people are crule fr and the effects of it go on forever and ever :( when i look back and hear about others experiences it makes me wonder about the past and how people were to me and if that was bullying but i was too dumb to recognise it idk how to feel about that tbh but thanks @AnnaSilverberg for making the growth path and workbook ill try doing it
Please note that the badge that goes with completion and commenting on this path is not an automatic badge. It must be manually badged so we appreciate your patience. 🥰
@Heather225 Thank you for the update, H. ❤️
