The Weekly Beacon: Small ways to help the community! (August 24)
Welcome to this week's Community Beacon! For those who might be new to this initiative, The Weekly Beacon is our new tradition in which we share simple, small ways you can lend a hand in the community. The heart of 7 Cups has always been the people in it, and you do not need official badges, special training, or hours of free time to make a difference in someone else's day.

Just realized that I should've had 52 stars instead of 51 in the post
@MentalHealthMatters01 Hey, looks like your star count was indeed off! I went through the last post. It should've been 45 instead of 51 or 52, considering you had 7+38 ⭐. I hope I'm getting it right!?

Sadly, my stars weren't updated in those posts. I had my own count in a Word document and now that I checked, I should have 52 stars by August 24.
The seven stars that I made in this post should be added to that number.
@MentalHealthMatters01 Yeah, it'd be 7 > 45 instead of 7 > 52 still. The format is "Stars earned that respective week > total stars from previous weeks."
So in this case, you earned 7 stars in the Aug 17 weekly Beacon, and your total from all previous weeks was 45. The 7 stars earned that week are shown separately first, and then they get added to the previous total in the following Beacon. Meaning, your total is definitely 52, it's just that the 7 haven't been added to the displayed total yet.
It's just the way the stars are displayed that can make it a little confusing. Hope that makes sense! Lemme know if there's any confusion :)
