Tbh I take it one day at a time and just try to get myself through the day. I’m also on medication, constantly journaling and distracting myself with video games atm. You got this.

realizing how far i've come, and the things i've accomplished to get me to this point. even if it's a low point, i think of all of the highs. i also think of all of the people that have put time and effort into helping me survive, i wouldnt want them to feel like they failed because they were there for me when i needed them the most.

There is good in even the littlest of things. Start trying to recognize one or two and then build on that! It may take time and not be a quick easy solution but will get easier with time and the more you make it a habit.

For me, it's because my family would certainly be mad at me if I died, and I don't want them to keep criticising me even upon death.

@nabiroses you are allowed to feel however you feel. I wake up everyday playing a waiting game until I don't. Feeling is different from action. I think those around you are trying to say they want you to stick around

I have personal experience with this. I’d say.. it really is complex to tell the truth. It would have to be a combination of things.

Mostly of being able to detach and really connect with myself to understand what it is I am dealing with

I kind of had an end point of how I wanted to feel

And then from there every decision and action aligned with that

Does that make sense?

And a lot of the actions and moments or should I say critical deciding moments and factors were incrementally pushing me in that direction

But one thing I can say. It was never due the actions of others. It was always a combination of luck, circumstance people and applying a thought disciplined approach

Because I realized early on that I can’t have what I want directly. And what I mean is my own feeling. It’s selfish to try to. But to me it’s really important or was or is!

So that’s all I can say really. And also I found that empathizing with others really helped me because it taught me that those people. The same ones whom I want to feel as or thought I did. Actually.. had a ton of trouble of their own and they themselves are struggling

So slowly I’d do things to help me in a selfish way but all the while remaining true to everyone else and being sincere in all my actions and what it is that I did

At times I’d have cried. Or sighed deeply for hours or whatever the case may have been. But that’s what pulled through really. What I’m sharing here.

I also learned that with this approach - it opens up a lot of doors. Because people begin want to helping you back, because you give unconditionally with a lot of discernment (again the selfish part) you’re able to be fair on everyone and yourself too.

This is a fraction of what I have to share about that. I really hope it is worth a cent or so and you may glean something.

Much love and respect your way ❤️

@nabiroses

these past 4 years have been some of the darkest in my life. i'm still struggling, and this phase has shown me just how fragile and human i really am

i remember being younger, feeling so lost, so depressed that i thought one day i'd just give it all up. but here i am, 4 years later. Not much has changed, but i've found a new drive to live

i started shifting my focus to my goals and dreams. i'd daydream about the life i wanted, and i knew that nothing was impossible. i began to realize the potential i carry and even the smallest steps helped move me closer to where i want to be

i've stumbled a lot. i've had to pick myself back up again and again. buy every time, i've grown a little stronger. and now, i'm beginning to enjoy life more. and it all started with a goal, and that one small step forward :)
