WOMEN: What Do You Want Men to Know?
Women: Please tell men anything you’d like them to know. Whatever you’d like! Please keep it clean and appropriate; remember that there are teens reading this. Thank you! <3
Please check out the second post similar to this, where the roles are reversed. :)
@jesusredeemedme2425 🤔🤔
Dear men please know....
1) women are really attracted to cowboys
2) chores need to be shared
3)we are always right, so don't bother arguing😁😁
@Tinywhisper11 Ohhhh almost posted a gif Almost....
Who am I kidding? 😂 😂

@mytwistedsoul 😂😂😂😂😂
@Tinywhisper11 😁 😂😂
#3 is an example of why I'm a permanent bachelor.
@slowdecline48 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I'm a women and I agree. That's just childish.
1. I don't go around beinf a cowboy, but low-key, one time someone threw a cowboy hat with me, and I spun it on my finger midair and it landed right on my head. Looked super cool. Exactly one person saw it. 😂
2. Strongly agree!
3. *Smiles and nods* 😅
@Torean you'd make a great cowboy ❤
Awww thank you ❤️❤️😁
It's Hank Torean, boss of the plains! *cue hoofbeats, twangy harmonica*
I suppose I have ridden a horse in the desert before. 😁
@Torean Did it have a name? 😁
It did, unlike the song. 😂 It was Willy Wonka.
@Torean Willy Wonka?! 😂
Lol, yup. He was way nicer than the other horse who kept getting me smacked in the face with branches
@Tinywhisper11 A cowboy cleaning the dishes and saying "Yesss, Honey!"? You've certainly got helluva imagination;-)
@jacek73 😂😂😂😂😂
Dear Men,
Women don't really ask for much. You just gotta love her unconditionally, accept her, support her, care for her, be loyal and faithful to her, communicate with her, believe in her, make her feel secure and safe, and make her feel that she is needed, appreciated, and beautiful.
I promise, men... it's really not that much. That is the first thing I want y'all to know.
The second thing to know is: Read #1 above again!
The third thing to know is: When a woman yells and is angry and says she doesn't care anymore, that's not true. A woman's silence says it all. When she says nothing anymore, be worried.
Hope this helps you men. ♡
@YourCaringConfidant Could you, please, tell something more about "secure and safe"?
I often hear that women expect from men safety in a financial/material meaning. But I believe men who are good at making money are often terrible lovers (because they lack sensitivity or empathy) and they are not good at warm emotions (because a success in sales or managing often requires some psychopathic traits). Of course, they can try to impress at the beginning with lots of flowers or expensive restaurants, but they may tend to 'buy' feelings instead of being emotionally supportivebin the long term...
@jacek73 Thanks for asking what I meant. I hope my answer to your question helps clarify things. ♡ While, I may agree with what you mentioned... notice I did not mention anything about providing or material things at all. I did this for a reason, because every relationship is different.
Now regarding making a woman feel secure and safe. To me, this just means this... listen to your woman. I mean really listen to what she is saying. Do not judge her, belittle her, or make her feel bad about what she said or how she may be feeling. Make her feel that she is safe to say whatever is on her mind. (And the same goes for you! You should always feel like you can say what you really want to say.) When you make her feel safe because of your actions and how you respond, she should feel like she can open up complete. This is where she can express herself, be herself, and be vulnerable with you. Us women don't just go being vulnerable with no one for no reason. (Well, I speak for myself... I used to tend to hold my guard up to protect myself.) When you make her feel safe, then this is where it also helps her feel secure. Once again, through your actions. You know how sometimes people "check out" in relationships? Well, be emotionally "there" for her. I don't know how to explain this. It's just trying to avoid feeling alone even when you are not physically alone. It's more than just being with a woman, you have to "be there". Hopefully, you know what I mean. Secure-- once again, just make sure she knows you are committed to her and please do what you say you will do. ♡
@YourCaringConfidant Thank you for the explanation :-) Actually, I am single for a year. But I still remember some good things and bad things, shorter and longer stories connected with relationships of my life, including the best one I've ever had. Yes, if I ever... again... I'll care. Made some mistakes on the way. But you can be sure of that :-)
Good explanation of emotional safety. I second that! I'm with someone now who I am scared to communicate with. The lack of safety made me fall out of love.
@YourCaringConfidant 😂😂😂😂😂 well said 👏👏👏
Yes I agree hole ❤️edly!
@YourCaringConfidant
Hey! Could I quote you in my bio? I really love this!
@Selfloveisimportant Thanks for asking. Sorry I just seen your message. I have no problem with that. :)
@YourCaringConfidant
Are ALL women like this? That's a tough one to handle! 😄😄😄
@jesusredeemedme2425
To tell them I am not as strong as I look. I am fine with them talking about me but it should stop when it gets personal. It hurts me even though I act like everything is ok. I also have a lot insecurities thanks to my mom and dad and you are really not helping by reminding me of the pain of thinking that I am not good enough.
Some women don't appreciate gender roles be sure to discuss it before assuming the female should always cook, clean etc.
There's more than one pair of pants.
Communicate means replying or acknowledging.
Don't minimize a partners concern because it didn't stem from you
I just wish I didn't feel treated like an object. Often I feel like men completely dismiss my thoughts or feelings.
I also hate the generalizations too, just because your ex used to do xyz, doesn't mean every other woman does too. I'm an entirely different person, please try to get to know me.
@Conflictedhappiness I'm so sorry men have made you to feel as if you were just an object. You are truly a precious gem and should be made to feel as such. I hope one day the right man comes into your life and treats you as you deserve. ♡
The generalizations are such a turn-off. Almost like he's been with the so many women and can't make it work.
@jesusredeemedme2425
I’m a teenie but I have a couple things;
first of all, we are all somewhat complicated. we have complex and scary thoughts and overthink things, and sometimes we are a lot to be around.
second, most of us girls long to have someone they can support and love. even if we seem stand-off ish, deep down we long to be known and to be loved. the same way we long to be known, we long to know someone, so much so that we almost feel like our minds are connected.
third, we are all different. you can’t just do the same thing you see your friend doing to make your girl/woman feel happy or comforted. you have to spend time getting to know us, asking us questions, walking through life together, etc. if you take the time to know your girl/woman, you will be able to figure out what she likes in terms of gifts or what she needs to feel secure or even what she would prefer she do herself.
lastly, please give us a bit of patience. we have grown up around the fact that when boys/men tease us or make fun of us, it’s because they like us or find us attractive. sometimes it feels like nothing we do is right, and we will take a bit of effort. but we would go to the ends of the earth for the people that we love and it can be a privilege to be in our circle of trusted ones. <3
As a man this is the most useful post, thank you.
@ArkLur21 Of course! I’m glad it was useful for you.
@StarrySkies1236
I think it's useful to know that it's not possible to know beforehand, how far a relationship will go, or how deeply both partners will commit to it.
@belami2024
Yes, good point, not everyone commits fully when they’re in a relationship. I am of the belief that dating is the on-ramp to marriage, so obviously not every dating situation works out but I would say the goal should be the same. Not everyone agrees with that, and that’s of course fine, but I would say that both partners should have an idea of where the relationship is hoping to go.
@jesusredeemedme2425
I’m not quite old enough to be considered a woman yet but I am a young woman and I have some strong thoughts on this.
1) Feminism does not mean we think women are better or superior, but rather no gender is superior and both genders deserve a community to feel good about themselves in
2) Not every relationship between two different genders is a romantic one
3) Women are not dramatic, just like men aren’t emotionless and tough
4) We aren’t objects to manipulate and use
5) We don’t believe all men are bad, just many of them give guys a bad rap
Feel free to debate me in the replies. I love me a good debate!
@ivoryDog4942
In my experience, 1) depends on which woman is asked that question. The definition you give here for feminism--a most sensible one, btw--more accurately sums up 1st-wave feminism (voting rights, not being restricted to the home, etc.) & perhaps early 2nd-wave feminism (Roe vs. Wade & associated issues). In the 21st century, 3rd-wave feminism is the dominant current & despite protests to the contrary, it is not about gender equality in the least. I got suspicious of it when the "are men necessary" trend was going a few years ago; then things like the #menaretrash hashtag & the #MeToo movement abandoning its original purpose to categorize most or nearly all men as potential r*pists (& to expand the definition to include lousy sex) confirmed what the 3rd-wave ideology is really about.
Also, ditto for 5).
@slowdecline48
I do agree that my definition was really want I want it to be and what I think many other women want it to be. Thank you for educating me on all the waves. It sounds fairly accurate as my mother is a 2nd wave feminist and I plan to study it some in college. I did not mean to spread misinformation, but I wanted men to know some of our intentions, because most men only look at what you described as “wave 3” feminism, which I do not think fully represents us. Many women on the internet and in real life do joke about men being trash or being known for being rapists, which often causes more harm than good. But, this does go back to one of my points: women don’t always mean they think all men are bad, men just are known for being bad. The way the internet is, is someone will make a joke and it eventually will get lost in translation, which I think is a separate issue.
Basically, I’m arguing modern wave feminism isn’t fully defined by the jokes and misunderstandings women make about men on the internet. The internet is a more complicated issue. I hope I could clear this up but I totally agree with how you defined the other waves of feminism. I just don’t think we’ve been in the third wave long enough to know what it will be like.
@ivoryDog4942 I see. An interesting reply...it certainly gives food for thought. While I spoke honestly in my initial comments I will admit that Internet culture sometimes (maybe often) has a way of making things look worse than they are. The most extreme & obnoxious are the loudest & most persistent, so they usually get all the attention. Decent people in any movement (to the extent that they exist) rarely ever have a comparable urge to make noise & gather an audience. One could well say 3rd-wave feminism hasn't been around that long in the context of, say, women's suffrage--that was just before & after the turn of the (20th) century! 😃
@ivoryDog4942 I think the real problem is the men who do evil often walk away with that, and the innocent men are punished for nothing, just because they're more "at hand".
There is a new generation of men, more fragile, more thoughtful and more sensitive, who were taught to respect women as "equal, though different in a charming way" and to be friends with them - and they really don't need to be hunted and shot at with anti- "wild macho on the loose" heavy guns ;-)
But, hey, come on! This thread was probably supposed to be kinda light-hearted, so maybe let's not spoil it by going too deep into discussions about "-isms" :-)
No means no.
We alr know that lmao.
@ArkLur21
Some men dont. Along with some women.
Men: If you don’t remember anything else from this post, remember this one:
A woman smiling at you, talking to you, joking with you, etc., is not a romantic/sexual invitation.
Read that again.
A woman being kind and polite is not subtly telling you that she wants to be with you. She is being a decent human being to another human being.
Please, men. Please stop making us feel scared to be kind. Please stop hitting on us because we interact with you on a friendly, social level.
@jesusredeemedme2425 Soooo true!
@YourCaringConfidant But in real life it is really difficult to say which smile is being romantic, and which is just being polite. Maybe most men overestimate their charm and many women underestimate theirs? :-)
I would be curious to know what are the biggest "green flags", when a woman IS interested in knowing someone better, apart from saying things like "I've dreamed about you holding me in your arms since the moment I saw you for the first time" - which is VERY :-) sweet, but also very rare (it happened to me once through my entire lifetime).
@jesusredeemedme2425
: 0 Can I quote in my bio. ? -Mae✨
I want men to know that women are mostly really sensitive when it comes to feelings.....so whatever you guys have to say please think before you say it.
