World Kindness Day 2025

Today is World Kindness Day, a reminder that even the smallest act of care can brighten someone’s entire week. Kindness doesn’t need to be grand or perfect - it can be a few words, a moment of patience, or a quiet choice to treat yourself gently. Kindness to oneself is also just as important as kindness to others!
Feel welcome to reflect on how kindness has impacted you, how you can be more kind to others and yourself. Here is a question that can help you put it into action:
What is one small act of kindness you can do this week? It can be something for others or something for yourself. Bonus if both, right?!
Tonight I was exhausted mentally but pushed through and was gifted with a simply lovely interaction. What a lovely reminder that I’m definitely not the one giving…it’s a mutual experience. Thank you to this amazing community!!!
@TheReflex
Aw that’s so well put, it’s indeed a mutual experience and I’m so glad you were reminded that you aren’t alone. 💛 Don’t forget to pause and breathe and do something kind for yourself too, we all deserve it.
As I started helping out a guy I met just over a month ago, & as one of my deeds was getting him out of a rather f***ed-up situation & giving him time to calm down & get the tension out of his mind, I am not worried about doing a "small act of kindness" for this week.
Also, this week is almost over.
@slowdecline48
Haha yes, there shouldn’t be a timeline for kindness or being kind to people, any day can be a “do a kind thing today” day. 🥰
It’s indeed quite kind and supportive of you to help them get out of that beepedddd situation. Sending both you and them tons of kindness!
I will send money to charity 😌
@SoulfullyAButterfly
I had no idea this day existed. Thank you so much for sharing this, even though I’m day late I will definitely be more intentional of how I can be kinder to others and myself
@SoulfullyAButterfly
One act of kindness i can do this week is being good to others and understand their mental state and serve as an emotional support
Kind act for others: Be empathetic of their situations and try to help as much as I can through listening.
Kind act for myself: Know when to take a break whenever I need to disconnect from my phone and thoughts.
@SoulfullyAButterfly
I want to be more lively with others and able to put a smile on their faces.

@SoulfullyAButterfly
Offer a silent prayer or good wish for someone struggling.
For myself - I will do something that brings me quiet joy, like coffee, music and a long walk in nature.
Small acts that bring big warmth. 😊
@SoulfullyAButterfly I can clean my spaces as a personal act of kindness! Sometimes I neglect that when I focus on other tasks
@RibbonOfLight4 Having our surroundings neat, clean and organised can have a positive impact on our brain and also much convenient to access things. That’s a great way to show yourself kindness! 🥰
