struggling to hang on? this is for you
hello,
i don't know you or your situation, i'm not going to tell you to hang in there and that it will all get better. i won't tell you what to do, or what not to do. i promise.
the other day i was walking along my own business, and came along a quote that said something like this (its not exact) 'remember, you can always do it tomorrow, and when tomorrow comes you can always do it the day after, and on the day after you can always do it the day after that"
you don't have to do it today. the world will *not* be a better place without you. there is enough oxygen for all of us, there have been enough seeds planted for flowers to bloom, there is enough trees to photosynthesise and produce the oxygen you deserve to breathe. there is enough air outside, for you to breathe in.
and if tomorrow comes along, and you get broken once again, and the world comes crashing along pulling and tugging away at you, and your struggling like life almost seems like a tornado, but you know.... flowers don't bloom unless you water them, and give them enough sunlight. and like they say, you wouldn't blame the flower for its situation, you would blame its environment. its okay, if there are days where its harder to take care of yourself, we all have down days, that's okay.
its okay to love yourself and its okay to not. its okay to be stuck, and it's okay to be un-stuck. its okay either way.. life will go on. no matter how many times we break, our heart still beats, our lungs still breathe, and the mind keeps thinking. your not falling behind, your there.
i know, you just want the pain to end. it doesn't make you a bad person. bad things sometimes happen to good people. and other times good things happen to good people.
if your struggling to stay alive today, we don't know about our tomorrow. we don't know if we wake up tomorrow, we don't know what will happen in 2 weeks time. but tomorrow will come... and you can always do it then. Or even the day after.
i love you. there is enough love and space for you here, and everywhere.

Omigoooshhh Bunnnyyybeaaan! Someone is chopping onions smh! 😭💖
Thank you so much for your heartfelt message. Your words carry such a gentle warmth and understanding that truly resonate, as always, you have a beautiful way of expressing empathy and compassion, and I appreciate the care you’ve put into reminding others that it’s okay to take a step back when life feels overwhelming. (It also feels like a letter to self, so I do hope you've read it at least 5 times also?💖)
Your metaphor about flowers blooming is particularly touching my friend. It’s a beautiful reminder that we all need the right conditions to thrive, and that it’s perfectly alright to have days where we struggle. Sooo easy to blame the flower when it's not blooming or blooming "enough", but in reality, it's the environment that needs fixing and changing!
Life can indeed feel like a tornado at times, and acknowledging that is a courageous step. It’s comforting to know that it’s okay to be in a place of uncertainty or pain, and that we don’t have to rush to “fix” ourselves.
I love the idea that there’s enough love and space for everyone. It’s a powerful reminder that we’re not alone in our struggles, and that there’s room for healing and growth, no matter how slow that process may feel.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts so openly and for extending your love. It’s messages like yours that can light a spark of hope in someone’s heart. Please know that your kindness makes a difference, a lootttt of difference, and I’m sending love back to you as well. Oooh and with hugss, big big hugsssss! 🤗🤗🤗
Again, hope you read this several times also, you beautiful brave being! 💖

omiiigoshhhhh sunshineeee! lmaooo, long time no see buddy 💗 lovely to see you.
thank you sunshine for your kind and heart-warming words, it really does mean so much more than you think to me. i like to think of it as a letter to everyone, including myself. i think we have all come a long way - and i guess that's something to appreciate and honour. Society doesn't really emphasise enough the importance of celebrating progress in self, or the idea that it's actually quite an achievement to wake up everyday and get through the tornadoes of life. The willingness to leave space for healing and slowing down is something special. But oh well... we will all get there eventually.
of course sunshine! 💗 i'm wishing you all the very best! thank you for taking the time to write such a wonderfully crafted and beautiful response. Hopefulness can be very underrated in a dark world but it takes alot more strength to find it and be able to see it. thank you for your kindness and lovely, lovely message 💗 *sending lots of warm hugs back*

I feel the "society" also has people like you and me, more of us who believe in the power of kindness, of support, of love and who initiate more conversations about celebrating inner-strentghs and progress along one's journey of growth in life, and I'm proud to share this world with someone as endearing, brave, loving and amazing as you, Shining buddy! 💖
Happy to see you always!🤗

I don't know if I should respond to you because it does seem to be a message written to me, but I think when I open my mouth others might think I'm being negative and I don't want that.
More messages are on my homepage, but I think I can keep it short - I'm separated from my girlfriend, we met during our studies abroad, her hometown is in the capital city and mine is in a normal city. I had planned to work in her city, but the competition was fierce that was difficult, so she applied for a PhD at a school near my city, but that didn't quite work out.
I got a job in a big city near me and I dislike it - the pay isn't great, I'm always working overtime, I've just started and I've noticed that the internal organisation is a bit messy, I'm always doing work I'm not familiar with and there's no one to show me the ropes, and I've spent the past week exhausted from renting an apartment. But this job is probably the best solution for me at the moment - it's in my field, it has a good and stable national track record, I know how to promote myself in the industry, and at this rate, the distance between me and my girlfriend will be much shorter-. -Although still long-distance, we see each other once a week whenever we can.
I really want to get out of here - the high level of mental stress I face every day, and the depressing environment I find myself in when I return to my rented house at night, but I don't know where I'm going to go - it's the same in this industry, but because it's the right field of study, jobs like this are always coming to me! I'm not sure where I want to go - it's the same in this industry. If I were to change my profession, where would I go? Or are all jobs like this? I'm still sending in my CV, but how do I know that other jobs will be different?
My girlfriend wants us to end our long-distance relationship after she finishes her PhD, but how can I promise her a bright future in my current state? I'm at a loss.
@Megalodon123
hello. I wanted to point out the strength and courage you have had to reach out to me and I respect your in a difficult situation right now. Although, I would love to be able to support you somehow I do not think I'm in the right position to do so. Baring in mind, your an adult and I'm a teenager and I also don't have experience or the tools to support or give advice to you. Sometimes we all hit a negative state in life, and thats okay. Please do reach out to someone who could perhaps support you better than I can?
I do wish you all the best and hope things work out for you eventually!

Thank you for your reply.
I've sought a lot of help, but no one can help me - no one can tell me in a few words what I should do to have a bright future, otherwise everyone would be a millionaire.
But I'm happy enough knowing that someone might be there for me.

I love this! How encouraging and uplifting this is. I'm so glad you shared it and I hope that whoever is struggling, at whatever point they are, that they see what you shared. Being here in this moment, and knowing that it's okay to be.
I would only add that by the example of your post, it is clear that there are so many here like yourself who have compassion and care to give within your own capacity, to others. There are so many here who want to give hope and a listening ear whether in the communities or chats.
Thanks for sharing this. It is so beautiful!

@amiableBunny4016 such a profound thought ! Love your metaphors and yes, like I always say, nothing is permanent, nobody is immortal and no feeling is eternal. There's this beautiful poem, The Brook, that talks about river. It ends beautifully saying, 'for men may come and men may go but I go on forever'. It holds good for life as well. Thank you for the reminder. Love you 💞
@amiableBunny4016 thank you for this <3
