Hi everyone! I hope all is well on your end. Another month has gone by and this means we have more tulip awardees!
This is an award given to listeners who have been consistently supporting their members. Only members can nominate and only listeners can get this badge. You can read more about the project here.
Note: The number of tulips next to their username indicates how many members nominated them. Nominated listeners receive one tulip (per nomination) next to their username along with the tulip badge. Please note a listener can be nominated by the same member only once. Members can nominate 3 listeners a month, the 3 need to be different listeners each month.

I also forgot to mention, I read something in a book just last night that speaks the truth that you speak, about supporting others, being confident enough in ones own self and strengths to show gratitude and appreciation for others. For not seeing others as competition. Simply focusing on our own behavior, competing against ourselves and ourselves only, competing against ourselves and our last greatest victory, rising to the occassion. Once we gain skills, we use those in an effort to simply support our team mates. Tag me back and in the mean time, I'll go find that book and that specific page.
I think you would really like it, me typing a bit of that text out here for you my friend! These are qualities that you consistently exhibit, day in and day out. I'd like to type it here for you and let you know that these are gifts that you come by naturally. You've done this all along my friend, for you, no book needed to learn these things, but I'd simply like for you to see, a book author out there, is reaffirming your greatness as well. *bows* and big *hugs*

5. Positivity and Growth. When we're aware of our own strengths, we're more confident, we value others' ablilities more, and we, feel less competitive. The inclination to compare yourself to others may not go away completely, but it shrinks because you only compare yourself to people within your area of expertise. Rejection and criticism don't feel like assaults. They feel like information that we can accept or reject, depending on whether they help us to move forward.
For me, this is a truth I have always held closely to my heart even before reading that last night. I even take it a step further and I compete against NO ONE and compare myself with NO ONE. I have said before on this very site, Gizzie comes with a "non compete clause". I'm simply here to support others on their journey and bask in their glow. For me, it's simply gratifiying enough if I ever felt that I helped someone on their journey and to help propel them forward.
