Who loved this week?
To love is to live.
When we express our universal love and kindness to our fellows, we come alive.
We're doing something wondrous in our Peer Appreciation Team. We are determined to love and bond with one another as a beautiful team. For that, we do love bombs (aka Gratitude Rains 🌧️). Yes, we drop love (appreciation) messages to one another. What better way could there be to bond than by seeing good in one another?!
We are using this thread to share updates for Love Bombs: our team bonding activity!
Team Members who aren't able to pm may use this thread for expressing their love for one another!

Woohoo! Thank you fristo! I actually love this idea! It brings a sense of togetherness, love and kindness. Getting to know each other is so important but just knowing someone cares or loves us is such a lovely feeling! Thank you fristo! This is so amazing!

@Fristo
Totally wrong!!
It should be...
"Where there is love, there is the end of life..."
Love is a crazy thing or maybe just a word coined by the "fiction admirers" jst to sell their work!!!
Happy love !!!
Well said Fristo, yes connection to one another when properly balanced is magical. To love without entitlement or dependency, easier said than done of course. ❤
@miraculousParadise2759 beautiful words💛
@Keith22534 threw 1 love bomb this week, wohoo!
If anyone reading this wants to participate too, you can join our team!
@YourCaringConfidant

@Fristo
You might want to rething this program and its name.Love Bombing is something cults do.
"Love bombing is a form of psychological and emotional abuse that involves a person going above and beyond for you in an effort to manipulate you into a relationship with them. It looks different for every person, but it usually involves some form of: Excessive flattery and praise."
@Gettingbettertoday
Hello there,
You may know me as Bunny. I think we have met before. With all due respect I ask you to please not send disrespectful messages. If you don't want to be part of appreciations or what we do please don't say anything unkind.
Just be kind. It can make a huge difference. Being kind is not a form of abuse. It's a form of love and it can make the world a better place.
We are a community. Together.
"In a world where you can be anything be kind"
So with all my respect I ask you to think again about what your saying. Please respect we are only trying to make the community a better place!
Bunny
Do we really want a community where everyone starts hating on each other when we can just appreciate someone for being kind? Or helpful? We may not know each other but from what I see in the community this has helped many people including me. As a smile spreader, I am proud to be part of this. And it seems strange to you that we appreciate people we don't know, but it has shown our community how far kindness actually goes. With all my respect that's all I had to say because I thought it was important to send that message out. Not attacking anyone.

@Gettingbettertoday
Hello there,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. By using the word "love bomb", we actually meant being genuinely kind and complimenting each other for the positive things we see in them. This is a form of team bonding activity .... but we weren't aware of any other meaning of "love bomb". We will be keeping this program because of what it stands for (something positive) but will recheck the term and make the necessary changes.

@Gettingbettertoday the same expression could be used in multiple ways, just like the same word could carry a different meaning when used in a different context. when used in our appreciation context for the work we do, it simply means passing compliments to one another.
we used to have love bombs previously in the community too, the former appreciation team used to do it.
but really if it might be too much of a bother, or could be triggering to someone, we can choose a different name💛
