When I get overwhelmed, I have to step back and work on focusing a little more on breathing, and taking some time to let my brain and emotions settle before I can look at what is overwhelming me. Breaking things down into smaller pieces helps me from looking 15 steps ahead and freaking out about not being able to do all the things.

For me I try and take a break, go for a walk or a drive. Just get away and recharge.

Thank you so much for the tag!!! I am so, so thrilled that I've been able to be here for everyone and be more a part of the community as of late. I'm absolutely honoured to be included here, thank you.

As for what I do when I'm feeling overwhelmed: To be quite honest, I usually start off with a bit of a cry haha. But when I'm ready to work things out, I try to shave off all the tasks for the day that I don't absolutely need to get done so I can take some time to recalibrate almost, and to try to work out if there's a root cause of the overwhelm — or how/why I've let so many things pile up that I am feeling overwhelmed

When I feel overwhelmed I usually go for a walk to nature and take a self-care break if needed.

Being overwhelmed is perfectly normal and different people have different ways of dealing with it.

I either practise breathing exercise or listen to a favourite song.
