Community Spotlight - January 2021
Hello 7Cups Community Leaders & Discussion Leaders!! I hope you are all doing well.
I am writing this post to express my heartfelt gratitude to each one of you. Because each one of you is making an impact through your contributions to the community. Whether you are listening to a member 1-1, supporting each other in group chat rooms, forums,, or Q&As, or leading different types of sessions to support the community members and listeners. All these efforts are a reflection of our collective contributions as a team.
Every community leader or discussion leader has their own strengths, ideas and creativity that they brought up with them and creating a great environment. I am thankful to each one of you.

What did you learn in your role lately?
I feel like I am learning something new every week. I really enjoy hosting the discussions or writing the forum posts to see how others think about a subject and I get to learn something new every single time <3.
One thing you enjoy about your role?
How brave people can be when opening up to me, or others in a groupsetting for example. Seeing how supportive this community actually can be. It makes my heart happy!

What have I learned? I've learned a few things like various ways to deal with trauma.
I live doing the check ins for trauma support.

If you are in a good community and can be a team, you can do a lot together! It doesn’t matter where you came from, how you look, what clothes you wear, you’re a member here or on the big team. Everyone has an important role to play, whether small or even large. The sea is also made up of many tiny raindrops. The power is in unity. I am grateful to be here, thank you!🧡🙏

What did you learn in your role lately? Even if one person reaches out in kindness and empathy , it makes a great difference to the other person who needs it.
One thing you enjoy about your role? I have always enjoyed reading and writing. I feel WORDS can soothe, heal and inspire so I enjoy my role which requires me to use WORDS.
