Community Spotlight: September 2020
220!! Yes! That’s the count of community leaders who are part of the September Spotlight Cohort! Yay!
In the month of September, 76% of the community leaders met the monthly requirement or went above and beyond it. Let's hope we able to reach 90% for October 2020!
A big shout out to each one of them and everyone in the community (who may not be mentioned in this cohort) for putting your efforts and thoughts to support and build the community.
Such contributions reflect how we feel about our community and everyone in the community. All the efforts of these community leaders reflect that they are thinking of you. You matter here and everyone who is part of this community. It reflects teamwork, perseverance, and hard work. It shows the spirit of community and this is community building.

My answer is not very exciting, but I have been left feeling pretty upset after a few chats in my time here, and every time I have connected with a Peer Support, I have felt a thousand times better. This inspired me to see if I could offer the same support to others.

An additional reason is helping others helps me to feel better. I love in 7 Cups for Soul Searching when Dr. Glen Moriarty writes that he was a fool to think he was helping the members and doing them this huge favor by listening to them and providing this platform. In actuality, the help goes both ways.

Thanks Obs for considering all of us. The hard work and consistency of each and everyone is appreciated so much. My heartfelt thanks to all of you. Thanks everyone for all we do. Supporting each other, gaining experience, doing my best, learning and the feeling inside myself of helping others was and is my main motto and these aims inspired me to be a leader and to support everyone !

Personally, something that motivated me to become a leader was the idea of 'be the change you wish to see in the world'. If we all do our part, the world will change profoundly

Thank you to all our wonderful community leaders as well as members of the 7 Cups community. I really appreciate you all.
To answer Silent's question... I became a community leader because I want to contribute to the greatness of our virtual society.
I want to use my role to improve and stregthen our society. To ease the workload from our wonderful leaders and motivate us all to keep moving forward.
I want to be a good leader and an even better member.
Wohoooo, yet again I did it. Well I noticed fellow listeners sometimes had hard chats or something didn't go that well and so when the chance arrived to help, I took it.

Yay!! I'm so honored to be part of such an amazing group of people, and I'm extremely impressed that the number of featured community leaders increases every month! Something that inspired me to become a community leader was to expand my outreach and meet more people in our community while practicing my leadership skills.
