I have a tendancy to push away help when it is offered or find ways why it wont work - so my inner sabatoure can win - prove to myself i am hopless and don't deserve help....ahhhhh, i hate myself.

It is my decision to heal from trauma and my ED and all that other crap that keeps me down - but i dont feel I am good enough to heal from it - so bc my core beliefs - I will never be able to heal.

I've learned that my traumatic experiences all stemmed from the same place. I need to keep reassuring myself that I am loveable, beautiful, and worthwhile. Time has healed my wounds before. It can do it again.

@LittleLordGothleroy That's an incredible observation, and it shows great self awareness. Knowing the source of your experiences is a great stepping stone in overcoming them. You are lovable, beautitful, and worthwhile, and you have the perserverance and strength to move forward. If you'd like and haven't already, feel free to check out the Trauma community as they have resources. Trauma

@blissedNblessed Forgive yourself with Gods help. God loves you and wants you to heal and move forward. We can live in the past or we can move forward with Gods help. The choice is ours to make.

@GlenM That disordered eating typically starts as a functional approach to things like a lack of control or comfort.
