Join the 'One Small Step' Challange! What's Your Goal? (Week of October 6th!)

Last week, I introduced a new weekly initiative: The One Small Step challenge, which aims to tackle goals in a way that is not overwhelming on a week-to-week basis.

When you look at a long to-do list, it can be hard to know where to even begin. Instead of trying to do everything at once, our approach is simple: choose one small, specific, and achievable goal for the week.

By focusing on a single task, you make it easier to get started and avoid procrastination. Completing that one thing gives you a clear win for the week. That sense of accomplishment builds real momentum that can carry you forward into your other tasks.

Every Monday we set our goal (yes, you can set more than one!), and Friday we meet live to share our progress and motivate our peersr. Our first celebration last Friday was a huge hit which tells me this is something we need!

Join me this week and share your goal in the replies to make it official and get support from the community. Let us know:

What is your small step for the week?

Remember, the key is to start small! Your goal could be "Go for one 10-minute walk outside" or "Schedule that appointment I've been putting off." It's all about making a commitment to one positive step.

We'll meet again to share our progress and celebrate our efforts at the Weekly Wins Celebration this Friday, October 10th, at 4 PM EST in H's Hangout room.

Let's make this another productive week, one step at a time!

I absolutely love this!
My small step for this week will be to draw.
I have been putting it off for too long and I really want to do some art.
So that will be the small step I aim towards
🤗

@Heather225

This is such a great idea, Heather! 🌟

My goal this week is to not overwork myself and make time for small breaks throughout the day (even just a few minutes to reset) ☕

I'm excited to see everyone’s progress on Friday! 💛

My small step of the week is to try and carve out some fun time, I need not to be serious for a while 💜💕

@Heather225

My small step of the week is to do at least one positive self-care act every day.

I know it's already almost Friday, but my goal for this week has been to try and stop losing my mind with regard to my aunt's estate and changes that despite being executor, I have no say in, it began last Friday, after 2 years of being handled in Maryland, Pennsylvania is demanding judicisdiction because the house I have to sell is there and I said I didn't want to change states and MD and PA should figure something out that is more acceptable, but that didn't happen and now I have to start over a again in PA.

I was freaking out all last weekend because I was upset, furious, and just not ok with everything in general, but I started having heart palpitations because of the severity of my panic attacks and have since spent the week trying to not overreact and try to remain calm yet still furious, but mainly trying to avoid a meltdown that even a toddler would find ridiculous lol.

@Heather225 one small step I took this week was giving self love by going to ER and taking charge immediately rather than prolonging seein’ Doctor.
